after office — Restaurant in Montevideo

I had an excellent time here this weekend. It's not just a hostel, it's also a bar and has a wonderfully authentic Korean restaurant too. It was fantastic to meet Martín. My friend who stayed this weekend had a great time, he said the rooms were clean and he didn't lack for anything.... Right now there's a really huge screen showing World Cup matches by day and music at night in the bar area. All the staff were friendly and attentive... you won't find other hostels or bars like this in Montevideo.

Sin duda recomiendo este hostel, lo cual es más que un hostel, también tiene un buen bar (no se necesita quedar en el hostel para ir al bar) y un restaurante coreano con comida rica y auténtica. La atención al cliente es magnífico por todo el personal. No hay otro hostel/bar/restaurante en Montevideo parecido,...

Excellent value for money! Martin, the owner, was super helpful throughout my stay here. He even gave me a free upgrade to the private room as it wasn't taken that night - the first time I've received a free upgrade in 9 months travelling!!! The hostel is in a great location in Montevideo, within walking distance to a local bus station as well as the centre of the city. Martin helped me by exchanging money, cooking me his excellent imported noodles and even had a beer with me. The restaurant was closed during my stay but I hear great things...
