I would give this place zero stars if possible, but unfortunately I have to give them at least one star just to post the review. We spent a full day travelling from Buenos Aires via boat and bus to Montevideo in March 2025. I had booked two nights accommodation here in a private room for two people back in November 2024. About half an hour before arriving at the accommodation, our booking was cancelled on booking.com. No one from the accommodation contacted me about this. I contacted them to see if there was an error on booking.com, but there was no error. The hostel said they had accidentally overbooked and simply cancelled our room without contacting us. We had arranged with the hostel to pay on arrival, so we were not without money. However, we were left stranded in a new country without any accommodation at night. The hostel said they tried to message another hostel for availability, but nothing came of it. We had to arrange our own accommodation last minute. We managed to find an Airbnb for the night and decided to change our flight out of Montevideo to the following morning as all the other available accommodation was hundreds of euro. It is an absolute disgrace of an establishment. There is no excuse for leaving two people stranded in a new country at night without providing a solution to the problem they created. I will never book with this chain again. Unfortunately, I cannot leave a review on booking.com where I originally booked the accommodation as the booking was never fulfilled. Zero...

Most facilities such as hot shower, toilet, lift and Wifi worked well. The place was kept clean. ||For me the biggest problem was the noise. There is a large communal space on the first floor, but with very loud music from early morning to late at night. When checking in at 11:00 AM I could hardly hear what the receptionist said. She seemed unaware of the noise around here (complete absence of empathy). As the small kitchen is adjacent to the bar area, you can not evade the noise when using it. It feels like cooking in a disco. On the second floor is a "quiet area", but most space is taken by a TV room, while the leftover space is used by other guests to make loud phone calls.||Escaping to a balcony is problematic as well, as people usually smoke there and/or make phone calls there. Because of the ongoing party atmosphere, people drink or get drunk resulting in anti-social behaviour in the rooms at night and of course heavy snoring or vomiting.||Most annoying I found most staff, who act as a kind of DJs and think their choice of music and volume levels is the best. Some even shout at each other from one end of the bar...
