🇺🇸 Disorganization and negative experience. The first impression was due to lack of attentive service, because, despite the restaurant having few customers, the attendants gave us attention for 1 second, and then disappeared. As we wanted to see the grill, we sat at the counter, and luckily, we were served by a guy who was at the grill, very friendly. If it weren't for him, we wouldn't have had our orders taken, as we waited for the waitresses and none of them came. Regarding the food, the idea was to order only a few starters, as we were not very hungry. We opted for the molleja and provolone cheese. The dishes came quickly - positive point, but also expected by the restaurant being empty (it was 7:30 pm and it seems that local people usually have dinner late, around 9-10 pm). The cheese was nice, as the Uruguayan provolone doesn't have too much salt. As for the molleja, it wasn't bad, however, slightly burnt and therefore, dry. The surprise was the bill, which had a couvert charge (UYU 160/per person) as mandatory payment. We tried to talk to the manager to better understanding, as we only ordered starters, and she didn't care to assist us, saying that the house simply works that way and that this charge was for the restaurant's infrastructure. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ Due to it, this place has become an unfeasible option if the intention is to eat lightly. For other meals I’m not sure, but the starters were just not memorable. The positive points were: location, grill boy’s service, varied menu - in addition to meat, there are pastas, risottos, milanesas, fish, etc. Conclusion: for those who are curious and wants to try, ok. But I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend it to...

Food. Didn’t get any.
Service. 20 minutes to provide a menu. After that we were ignored for 20 more minutes, so we just got up and left. Waiters looked very surprised; apparently they thought it’s ok to waste an hour for an order. Even more bizarre, the place was half-empty.
Atmosphere. Terrible service. The tables were so dirty that your hands stick to them. Glasses were dirty too. The place is overall unclean and gloomy.
A dumpster of a restaurant. I have no idea why locals are so fond of...
