This place is far more than just a brief stop while exploring the old town of Bukhara; it's a portal to a bygone era that offers a celestial atmosphere that both uplifts the spirit and provides a cool respite under the intense Central Asian summer sun. As you cross its threshold, it feels as though you've traveled back centuries to a time when caravansary might have gathered here, sharing tales of distant lands. The setting achieves a commendable level of authenticity, with decor and an ambiance that harken back to the days of the Great Silk Road—though the modern comfort of air conditioning is a much-appreciated nod to contemporary needs. The journey through flavors is equally historic, highlighted by their exquisite Saffron and Herbal teas—each sip a masterpiece of taste and tradition. The traditional snacks complement these teas beautifully, offering a delightful nod to the local cuisine. This teahouse blends a perfect mix of history and tranquility, providing a serene afternoon sanctuary for those seeking to escape the scorching sun and immerse themselves in a taste of history during...

I’ve had a very pleasant half hour here. Quiet with interesting teas and coffees. Great atmosphere Price 70,000 SOM - expect that to change as there is inflation. Price includes pot of tea, local snacks and a second drink so can try a different drink. I had ginger tea and a (Turkish) coffee. Bit very good. It seems to be family run by someone who genuinely cares about the culture and experience. Is it a tourist trap? Well Bukhara is a tourist city. I’m a tourist. And I don’t think a place like this could exist without tourists. But in terms of experience and ambience this is great. There are plenty of local places further out but I doubt anything like this. And speaking from experience most a noisy, bright, sterile and limited in their menu offerings. Nothing wrong with that but for me personally I’d...

Perfect tea in city centre This might be a most to-do in Bukhara. The atmosphere is unique, I sat gere for almost 2h and saw many people come and go, all of them came to silence, real silence. We all had a similar experience I think.

The tea, delicious, definitely one of the best I ever had. The ambient might have helped but this just adds to the idea of coming here.

The price might seem a bit heavy at first, a tea for 70k sum??? But I promise it is worth every penny and definitely could cost more for the experience, you don't only get one but two pots of tea of your choice and a wide variety of snacks according to your drink.

Very friendly and carring service. I loved it and found great...

Went here yesterday on nowruz after it was highly recommended by many travellers and reviews. You pick a kind of tea or coffee, and sweets come included for 70k Som. We were the only people there around 5:30 pm and had the ginger tea & spice tea. The spice tea was not good and tasted mostly of mint. The ginger tea was decent, but maybe because I'm coming from a tea drinking country it wasn't very appealing to me. The sweets were also average - the only one I actually liked was the raisins and walnuts. The others were far too sweet and again, very similar to the sweets we get in India. The sugar candy especially I would not recommend - it's just crystalline sugar. The atmosphere is nice though.
