Plov Center — Restaurant in Tashkent

If there was an option for zero stars, I would give it! This place is filled with smoke and smell which will burn your eyes. There are only fans inside, which makes the smoke even worse! The servers are scammers as they quote you different prices at the start and then later change it to another quote at the time of pay out. The plov is nothing special and the shashlik was undercooked to the point that we requested it to be taken away for re cooking! They add "service charge" for nothing basically because the service is pretty slow and inefficient. I believe people suggest this center for cheap prices but please dont compromise on quality food and ambience and most importantly your experience/holiday just to save money !...

This place is dirty and food does not taste very well. Moreover they overcharge from each tourist, that's why you will tourists are arguing with them for the bills. They quote different rates at the time of order and at the time of billing, they forget how to speak English and all staff comes out like cockroaches to fight with customers. They will keep bringing items pretending that this is the part of your order. At the end they charge you for all the items separately plus service fee plus tourist fee plus scam charges. it seems like an authentic place, very basic, patronize by locals and tourists alike. Like a travel in time .very cheap. My friend and I shared one Plov. It was delicious but greasy. unfortunately, it’s not the most hygienic place, and when you see them, cook the rice was all the grease. you might change your mind and not eat. Both of us ended up with some G.I. distress afterward. Service is what you expect when no one speaks the language. And no, nobody tried...
