Exquisite Vietnamese dining experience at Epic Vietnamese Bistro at an unbeatable price!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Epic Vietnamese Bistro, a new addition to the culinary scene in Da Nang. If you find yourself in Da Nang, don't miss out on the opportunity to dine at Epic Vietnamese Bistro, located at 10 An Thuong 5. This new fine dining Vietnamese restaurant offers top-quality food at an incredibly affordable price and a high standard of service… making it perfect for tourists and of course expats alike.
From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the stylish and cozy atmosphere that welcomed me. The place looks amazing and its interior is beautifully designed, featuring comfortable furniture suited for Western-sized guests. Everything looks beautiful. So much thought has gone into this place and it is a credit to the owners.
The service at Epic Vietnamese Bistro is top-notch and 5-star, also friendly and welcoming. The owners, David and his wife, along with their seasoned and experienced staff, provide an excellent attentive and friendly service, ensuring a memorable 5-star dining experience. It is very impressive and it is no surprise that this restaurant has garnered rave reviews from fellow diners since its opening.
The menu features an array of mouth-watering dishes. I have had so many things off the menu and everything we had was beautifully presented, high quality produce and some of the best food I have had in Da Nang. I never want to leave and always end up ordering more. The portion sizes are generous and the presentation is impeccable. The Bản Xèo was the best I have had here as well. I always leave the place with a full tummy and gigantic smile and a great feeling. There is also a well sized Vegetarian menu. They also have a great happy hour deal and dangerously good cocktails.
In summary, I can't recommend Epic Vietnamese Bistro enough for anyone seeking an epic fine dining experience in Da Nang. The attention to detail sets it apart from other restaurants in the area. The combination of beautiful dishes, high quality exceptional food, in a comfortable atmosphere and beautifully designed building, and the superb service… make this restaurant a must-try for all visitors to the area.

Read moreThis unique little bistro is tucked away on a side street, but it's a hidden gem. It's small, with a quiet stereo playing pop music in the corner, but not so loud that we had to raise our voices. (In fact we started talking more quietly if anything.)
We were greeted as soon as we arrived by Mrs Jane, a Vietnamese server with excellent English. She showed us to our table and gave us time to talk and settle in before taking our orders, but when she found out it was our first time in Vietnam she made sure we were prepared for the spiciness of the food and even brought out a small bowl of sliced Vietnamese chilli for us to try. One of our party has a peanut allergy and she listened intently as he explained, then checked with the owner about thoseand other types of nuts, Googling the English word for 'sesame' as one of our orders contained those.
When it came out the food was spectacular. The flavours ranged from subtle to all-encompassing, and every dish was presented beautifully. The vegetarian in our midst thoroughly enjoyed her meal and had plenty to choose from, and we all agreed it was a perfect way to spend our first night here.
Courses range from 100,000-195,000 VND (£3-£6 at time of writing) with beer and cocktails available at similar prices. Wine is available but is significantly more expensive, some bottles going for upwards of 300,000 VND.
If we were in town for longer we'd definitely come back, but this is absolutely not...
