Eco Green Boutique Hotel Da Nang — Hotel in Đà Nẵng

What a terrible experience! I just have to recount all of the details here. As soon as I checked into the room, I couldn't get a good shower due to the pressure being too low. The staff said they would look into it and the very next day I found out that they had to change me to a new "upgraded room." This was not upgraded and they just moved me into a room that had the shower pressure issue fixed. This should have been my cue to find a new hotel room. Hindsight 20/20. The final straw was when I ordered some outside food. I am allergic to a lot of food (gluten and dairy free) so couldn't eat the hotel food- which is not gluten or dairy free! I just wanted to eat downstairs in peace. Well, I was told to eat in my room! There's a NO FOOD or DRINK Policy which is not clearly explained to guests! The manager pointed to a sign I couldn't see! I literally could not see the do not bring food sign and it wasn't told to me at check-in. Finally, I went outside to sit down and was then offered a seat inside. By that point, I was already fed up and just wanted to enjoy my food. I ended up getting a refund for the room. Part of the stay was pleasant other than the hotel not accommodating guests to eat downstairs. The hotel prioritizes its coffee and food business downstairs over its own hotel customers. Would never stay here again and I've stayed in hundreds of hotels, which at least respect their guests. Such a terrible experience! 2 star hotel at absolute best. The standards have dropped here big time. We stayed here last year and enjoyed it. This time however, how times have changed. The decor is shabby, plumbing broken, need to run the shower for 10 mins to get any semblance of warm water (so much for eco). The pool is green despite asking for it to be cleaned 4 times iver 5 days. Gave up when looked at it on day 5. You actually need to run the pump and filter and actually clean the tiles not stare at it and hope for ghe best. The breakfast is utterly pathetic. Last year it was quality, not any more. The cooks can't even cook a damn egg correctly. The lunch menu, tried the philly cheesesteak and ended up leaving half of it. The meat was chewy as he'll, could sit there chewing for a month and make no dent in it. The onion was just grease slop and way too much cheese. Prices gone up but quality dropped to the floor. Outstanding hotel, service far above the Vietnamese standard. The hotel staff was our rescue after a night in another nightmare Hotel, we left the other hotel cause it was a nightmare of dirt, bed bugs and noise. So after a night with not much sleep, we were more than tired. The staff realized our current status immediately and organized a early check-in.

Overall the hotel looks new and everything is clean. Rooms are in a western style with a balcony and Seaview. We had a room with two singelbeds as no other room was available. But we were quite amazed that the reviews on the web and the actual status of the hotel was matching. Even the photos on the booking site's were not Photoshoped. Rooftop pool is a amazing spot to chill. They served an excellent breakfast with a good choice and a very good coffee, quit not easy to find in Vietnam. We even had the service offert to use a scooter which was nice as we had plans to visit the lady Buddha.

So we were really happy to have the opportunity and stay in the Eco Green boutique hotel. Thanks...
