The worst bar experience i've ever had. Been so excited to come and i've made a reservation prior arrival for 4 persons.
It was raining and they didnt prepare for back up at all. I came and they escort us to sit in one table which made 2 of us wet because of the rain. In another 2/3 minutes, they asked us to move to another table which still wet and we get the rain with us. In another 5 mins, we ask them to move because we are even more wet and one of the man staff is confirming the table move.
When we moved. One lady come (the staff named Laura) came and asked us to move because she said the table was blocked for someone else and we already get dissapointed of this. We moved 4 times and they put us back to the first table.
After 2 mins, 3 persons behind us was about to go and there's no other way out, otherwise we need to go from our seat and give the space. Imagine how pack it was to seat next to each other with no space.
This is very frustating and that lady make everything so messed up. We cannot even enjoy each of the experience.
Thank you Laura for making it bad and...
Read moreGreat rooftop bar in Hanoi. We went on a Wednesday night around 10 pm, there was live music being performed in English and people up there were dancing along and having a great time.
The cocktails are all classics and are served excellently and with great taste. However, be wary of the hidden cost for the taxes which is not included in the original price of the cocktails. We got 2x advertised as 215,000 each, and the final bill came back as 500,000.
The live music lasted until about 11:15 pm. On top of where the bar is, there is also an exclusive seating area which you can access by going upstairs. That was much more intimate.
Overall, definitely recommend if you are in Hanoi, I had seen it on lots of hidden gem TikToks as well. Consider the drinks prices as it is much more expensive than anywhere else you will go...
Read moreThe vibe was amazing, the view overlooking the city was spectacular and I really like the lanterns that looked like floating jellyfish. The outdoor sitting area was super breezy, cooling place to hang out. The drinks were great but some might find the alcohol taste to be a little weak. Fries were super crispy even after it got cold and the tomyum mayo was an interesting flavor to try. The beef was my favorite, it wasn't fatty but the meat was not tough at all and was one of the best beef I have tried- though I prefer pairing it with salt instead of the given sauce. Pasta was interesting as they used a noodle similar to kway tiao texture. Burrata I felt was a little dissapointing, could have been more creamy as it was a little too much...
