Hanoi Rose Flower Hotel & Spa — Hotel in Hà Nội

Location is the only benefit you will get for booking this stay. Rooms are old, not Maintained, leaking and clogged basins, bedsheets stained. And it was not at all worth for the amount we paid.

We paid 5 star hotel price for this stay just to get the most rude treatment in the world. The hotel is shady but less shady than the owner (or staff, or the reception person seating) Only reason we stayed is we were already in Hanoi with heavy luggage, where everything was overbooked due to 31st December evening. The staff is really rude, misbehaving and didn't even help with the luggage to get to the room. We asked him for rented bike and agreed to give one for certain price. When we came down to go out, he asked for 2X money than agreed amount saying now I'm saying this price, you can take it or leave. They had locked the front door when we returned from 31st midnight celebration and we had to face the rudeness even to get in. Next day we asked to keep luggage near reception till we eat something and come back in 1/2 hour (which generally all hotels allows) but he rudely refused and started saying something in his language. Thought we didn't get the exact words, we knew it wasn't anything nice.

Every interaction with this owner/staff was rudeness and frustrating.

My 1st day of 2024 was filled with frustration and rudeness of this hotel staff/owner.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days for vacation. We kind of had a bit of a mix-up with our flight schedule due to some events where we end up missing our flight back to our country. And because of what happened, we were so busy trying to book another flight since we urgently needed to go back home that we forgot about that we are supposed to check ourself out by 12 nn that day. Based on my experience, the hotel staff should have notified us twice ahead of time that we need to check out of the hotel by 12nn. What's odd was that I passed numerous times in front of the receptionist and even talk to one of them but I was not notified about it. There are only a few guests on the hotel and they were just playing with their phones most of the time so I don't see any reason why they did not inform us. We cam never thank enough Mr.Michael, his wife and his staff for being so kind and courteous and helped all the way for all bookings around hanoi to major tourist spot like ninh binh, halong bay, sapa... I'm sure, the vietnamese are extremely warm and helpful for anyone around need of help... I highly recommend them the most for understanding and trying to fit in bookings for family. I'm indeed running short of words to elaborate about them... Next time if am here, I'm sure for the vietnamese...
