Container Craft Beer — Restaurant in Hà Nội

I took a long walk here, also to burn some calories in order to put alot back.

Container Craft Beer was one of the places that stood out when I search for craft beer on the tap. It was easy to find, and just beside a pho restaurant that exuded all the fragrance while sipping at my beer.

I chose the spot at the outermost of the establishment. Even though its winter in the middle of December, the inside was too stuff for my liking. Sipping my beer while flipping through social media, in the midst of the heavy traffic that zoomed by, showed me a different dimension of relaxation. If you sat on the inside, thered nice and slow music in the background.

Of the four beers I ordered, the Hai Van Haze IPA worked best for me. It was hazy enough, but yet slightly differentiated from the other hazies I had, with a tinge of fragrance. Its a drink by 7 Bridges brewery if I'm not wrong.

Food wise was more modest. I had the Fried Mushrooms that paired really well with the beers.

I came at a time when no one else was around, so the service staff was really attentive.

This is a little place that will likely slip under the radar for many. A small café-like setting, right near the Lotte Tower, with a decent menu of beers. They have free parking, comfortable seating, great air conditioning, and a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. While most of the beers on the menu are a collection from other breweries, they do have two of their own house brews. I ordered “ bò xào rau” (stir-fried beef with water spinach) but what they served was only fried water spinach with 10 grams (at best) of cooked tiny little meat pieces. It was very difficult to find those tiny little meat pieces. When I asked them why they sell it with the name “beef” whereas they serve only fried spinach, the answer was “beef is very expensive”.
