Heritage Coffee & Resture — Restaurant in Hà Nội

Ideal place for Vietnamese food, between tourist visits.

We had a great lunch there. Plenty to choose from the menu, and it offered more authentic Vietnamese dishes than many other restaurants.

It's ideally located if you're visiting the war museum or the old citadel, which we were. Not so many other eateries nearby.

We found the staff very friendly and very helpful. They had limited English, but certainly tried to understand. Who can fault that? Some, by looking at the reviews!

Plenty of comfortable outside seating in a big courtyard. Shaded in many places.

We asked for a table for two and were given the impression they did not want to seat us. They finally put us at a table with a giant flower bouquet on the table. We couldn't even see each other!

We asked for an egg coffee as we've been hearing the are a must try item. Despite being a coffee house they did not have egg coffee.

Food ok - quite expensive. Crowded with locals that smoke and drink in the premises. Most of wait staff cant speak english. Not much service - table not set up and no serviettes. We ate here only because the family was tired after visiting the imperial citadel. Place has nice garden terrace. Would have enjoyed more if not for...
