From 1 to 4 pm they have a 25% discount which the first time I walked in I didn’t know I just thought the place looked really nice and was carrying a backpack for most of the day so could do with a massage - so that was a pleasant bonus walking in at the right place right time! The reception area is very peaceful and you don’t mind lingering there and beautifully decorated
The receptionist wearing ao dai every time I visit it looks very elegant and elevates the space - she has very good manners and a particularly warm and welcoming approach. Don’t know her name but she wears the ao dai every time I went there and always smiling and makes the customer feel taken care of. Having been to thousands of places around the world, and several other massage / spa in Hanoi, this spa stands out as really good quality and the receptionist manner is quite impeccable and rare - really stands out as top notch service.
The price is more than fair even in a way unbelievable considering many places even bigger hotels charge more but do not even provide the same level of quality or service and amenities! This feels like a boutique spa experience and is def a favorite! The sauna is also amazing really worth it - even only twenty minutes is really powerful the unit feels quite new and the temperature really ramped up as usually I sit in a dry sauna for an hour before I start sweating!- they even serve you a (glass) bottle of water and wet towel to use while you’re in it! And a shower you can use afterward. It is better than a lot of bigger hotels and spaces in various countries even
They have a really good flow from intake to providing a welcome drink and treat to bringing the client upstairs and really thoughtful details that make the flow seamless - the therapist does not wait too long to enter the room and ambience is really warm and inviting.
The therapists really do use strength if you ask for it and have good technique. Overall it’s a solid place for massage and spa with high quality products and amenities and been here for four sessions now so quite consistent! They also serve you more tea and the yummy sweet coconut biscuits at end of session and a comfy seating area that you may have trouble leaving after you feel so relaxed ☺️
If you go for one of the packages that includes a light meal / drink you will be escorted to the adjacent hotel to the 8th floor restaurant which also is very pleasing in design and manner. I definitely describe this spa as a bespoke experience - feels unique is one of the more luxurious / high end spas in Hanoi but without the high ticket price point of some places that don’t even deliver half as much or to the same level of quality - all wrapped up in a bespoke boutique...
Read moreWe stayed here for our last night in Hanoi. We initially wanted to go back to the Marvelous Hotel to which they are affiliated but they were fully booked, we didn't regret staying with Hanoi Trendy Hotel & Spa at all. The location is great, right inside the Old Quarter. There was a little misunderstanding about the beds, the room that was prepared was a twin so they apologized and upgraded us to the family suite with a double. I can copy pretty much everything from my Marvelous Hotel review, which I partially will. I booked through their website directly since they offered the best price at the time plus they had a promotion offering a free massage with each booking. The spa facility is worthwhile, the prices are good and the ladies well trained. The breakfast is included and freshly prepared à la carte style, I recommend the heavenly banana pancakes with some chocolate syrup on the side, yum. The ladies that helped us spoke very well English and were super sweet, I even made a bet that I would write on Tripadvisor and when they would come to Paris I would get a Banh Mi =D The rooms are newly decorated in the same style as the Marvelous. They had a form asking for our opinions, I noted that the place-mats in the dining area didn't fit the style of the hotel and they changed it in the same afternoon (what!!) so it's safe to say that they are really there to make your stay the best possible. We left for a motorbike trip to Ninh Binh and they happily kept our luggage for two nights until we came back to catch our flight back home. We were sad to leave but the staff made our departure almost enjoyable, they arranged a transfer to the airport and smiled and waved goodbye. I hope to come back some day but for now I'll have the memory of the lovely people at Trendy...
Read moreThe pictures and reviews of this place do not accurately depict this place. It is situated in an excellent spot close enough to the bustle of the Old Quarters. But the appeal stops there.||We arrived late in the night and were greeted by a staff who was not able to comprehend basic English. We asked him if there was any food nearby and he couldn't give us an answer. Things got worst when we entered the room. The room smells so musty and the pillows and mattress were damp because the room had not been aired out. The shower heads had mould on them and was broken too. The mattress is really not comfortable. I felt quite cheated by the reviews here and went to Google them to find more accurate descriptions. At about 6am in the morning construction happens and it literally feels like someone is drilling into your head.||We checked out the next day (saw another couple canceling the rest of their stay in the morning as well). Apart from the location, the only other positive thing was the female managers attitude. She was genuinely saddened by our early departure and offered multiple options such as upgrading us to a room with a balcony (we saw it in the morning when someone checked out and it looked and smelt the same), getting us a taxi complimentary etc. We politely declined. I appreciate her sincerity and understand that this hotel has faced several challenges throughout Covid and thus are unable to serve breakfast, nor improve certain things but I cannot accept mouldy shower heads and damp pillows as this is within their control. It's a real pity because they're at an excellent location but I would give this a miss. Take the positive reviews with a...
