Restaurant has lots of vintage German decorations like clocks and posters from mid-20th century.

However, it had a humid atmosphere inside that you can feel in any typical local Vietnamese restaurant, which took out the immersion. The food was okay at best, though they felt more like Vietnamese food done German-style than actual German food.

My experience was also ruined by some men (Owners? Or frequent customers?) talking and screaming very loudly in the restaurant while dropping "đ*t mẹ" slurs every half a second. It was hard to properly enjoy my...

Very fun to find a German beer hall in Hanoi. It's underground and full of traditional steins, images, and knickknacks. It's true to form, I just always find these places oppressive and stuffy and personally don't like them much. The beer was very expensive, didn't try the food but it also seemed way overpriced. The owners/staff spoke German and English (and Russian I believe), and there were Vietnamese patrons speaking about us in German...I guess that was amusing, but if you don't speak any German you'll probably feel very out...

I went here because I missed german food and it honestly didn’t disappoint. It was refreshing to eat something salty again😭 and they had actual Ketchup, Mayo and Mustard from Germany. The Lady who owned the restaurant was also super super friendly and told us that her children and grandchildren live in Germany and thats how she got the idea to open a german restaurant. She also told us that she flies every three months to germany to get the ingredients she’s using for the food. I can only...
