Review of Rama Krishna Vegetarian Indian Restaurant
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you're searching for an authentic Indian vegetarian dining experience right in the heart of Hanoi, Rama Krishna at 26 Hang Buom, Hoan Kiem is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you step into the restaurant, you'll be impressed by the cozy ambiance and the decor that beautifully reflects Indian cultural heritage.
The menu is diverse and rich, offering a wide array of enticing and colorful dishes. I tried the Masala Dosa, a savory Indian crepe filled with spiced potatoes, accompanied by traditional chutneys. The flavors were truly unique and delicious. Additionally, the Paneer Tikka, an Indian cheese grilled with spices, was an outstanding choice not to be missed.
What makes Rama Krishna stand out is not just the delectable food but also the attentive and dedicated service. The staff is always welcoming, enthusiastic, and ready to recommend dishes that suit your taste.
Another highlight is the reasonable pricing, which matches the quality of food and service provided by the restaurant. If you're a vegetarian food lover and want to experience traditional Indian flavors, I highly recommend visiting Rama Krishna. You're guaranteed to have an amazing and memorable...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at a Ram Krishna restaurant in Vietnam, and I must say – it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm hospitality and authentic Indian ambiance made us feel right at home.
The food was the true highlight – every dish was packed with rich, traditional flavors. We tried the palak paneer, dal khichdi, chana madala, hara bhara kabab and paneer tikka, and each bite was a burst of North Indian taste that transported us straight to Punjab! The naan was perfectly soft and buttery, and the biryani was aromatic and full of spice, just the way it should be.
What really impressed me was the balance of spices – bold yet not overpowering – and the freshness of ingredients. Even in Vietnam, they managed to maintain the soul of authentic Indian cooking. Thank you Mr Raj & other staff for hospitality....

Read moreI recently dined at Ram Krishna restaurant in Hanoi and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. We opted for the biryani, hoping for rich flavors and authenticity, but it fell short in taste. The dish lacked the distinctive spices and essence expected of biryani. Surprisingly, it resembled more of a pulao due to the large chunks of potato, french beans, and chickpeas, diluting the true essence of the dish.
Furthermore, a discouraging aspect was the additional 2.5% charge for card payments, which added an unexpected cost to the meal. This policy could potentially inconvenience customers who prefer card transactions.
While the ambiance and service were satisfactory, the quality of the main dish and the supplementary charge for card payments detracted from the overall dining experience. For those seeking authentic biryani, exploring alternative dining options might...
