Went in specifically to watch my team play football back in Australia on their Big Screen. Place is in a busy part of the old town area that comes alive at night but it’s quiet at lunchtime when we are there. Wasn’t greeted with great service , not knowing where to sit or what screen ( there are several) to watch we finally found a spot. We ordered a couple of drinks and started looking at the menu. Decided on burgers but when trying to order was given a different menu and told the one we had was for dinner . All of a sudden the burger was a smaller one for twice the price…. We ended up sharing a pretty ordinary pizza ( meat lovers) that I had to send out a search party to find the 8 or 9 morsels of what turned out to be the meat…. The TV set up was poor and vision was lagging, this may have been a satellite issue but the other games going on seemed to be better quality. My team won and I should be writing a better review for this place but I wasn’t happy with them….. there are a couple of other places you can watch international sports which I will try next time but I won’t be going back to this one. Although Vietnam is a much better place than Bali, the several sports bar experiences I’ve had there have been superior, the prices were expensive for food and drinks, 50k VND for a small coke, that’s...
Read moreyou're an Aussie/Kiwi/Yank abroad (or just a sports lover in general) and find yourself craving a familiar game-day atmosphere in Hanoi, SportivO Sports Bar is the place to be. Nestled in the heart of the Old Quarter, this bar delivers big on live sport—especially Australian leagues. Whether it's AFL, NRL, cricket or the latest UFC bout, you're almost guaranteed it'll be playing on their huge screen front and centre.
The bar caters well to tourists and expats alike, with a steady stream of English-speaking patrons keeping the vibe lively and communal. It feels like a little slice of home in the middle of Vietnam. The beer selection is solid—cold, crisp, and varied enough to suit most palates. Prices are definitely tourist-level (you’ll pay more here than a local haunt), but you’re paying for the atmosphere, the prime location, and the ability to actually hear the commentary on the game you're watching. To be fair it is tourist prices because it is the type of place locals wouldn’t really frequent with it being most Australian sport.
The staff are friendly and efficient, and the layout is designed so you won’t miss a minute of the action no matter where you’re sitting. Whether you're popping in for a quick drink or settling in for an all-day sports marathon, SportivO makes...

You have to pay 200.000 to be able to sit and watch the game. The drinks and beer have been the most expensive I have seen since coming to Vietnam 2 weeks ago. A fraudulently scammers tourist place. Hope they shut down.
Placing people behind some red ribbon like it’s a prestigious nightclub. The 4 tvs were out of sync and were delayed lagged etc. it’s just horrible.
Reply: I was in Ha Giang for the euro final so I dont really know why you are saying that I came back. Why are you lying? I can attach my google time line showing that I indeed did not come back...
