This resort is really lovely and it's on a small island Thanks to the Hoi An Memories Resort and spa staff named vu, thao, trang, ky For making my last morning in the resort really memorable We were little upset with few things Like we had travelled 16 hours in a bus and reached the resort at around 5 .30 am and there was no one at the reception we waited for around 15 mints and then met a lady at the restaurant who was setting up for breakfast she came and woke them up. we spoke to them and requested them for a little early check in like around by 10.00 am or 9.00 am their check in time is around by 2.00 pm first they told me that they would give me the room immediately and I have to pay entire day room charges that is around Rs.4000 and we would get breakfast and just for few hours like 5 hours as we had to leave for sightseeing as all the sightseeing place close by 5.00 pm So then I told them that it's ok we will await in the lobby and they were ok with that To be honest every where in Vietnam we have got lively and friendly staff in all resorts and only in this resort we were harrassed Then they came up to us at around 7.00 am and told me that they would give me the room but have to pay Rs.2500 cleaning charges and the funny part is they dnt even make my room after we came back from sightseeing The same night we told the staff that it's our anniversary and I wana surprise my husband but they dnt even bother to help me out and for everything they wanted to charge and the charges were too expensive. The same night we asked them do they have champagne they said the restaurant is closed so we couldn't even celebrate our anniversary at night so we went off to sleep So next day after the entire day sightseeing we came home with wine and cake and we requested the staff to atleast chill our wine for some time but again they were a little glitch and were not willing to help so then I got a little upset and was not really have with the policy of the hotel and told them that in every hotel and resort if we update them that we have anniversary or birthday we get something or the other freebie or support from the restaurant or resort or hotel but this resort just wana make money they really dnt want customer values Then the staff made an effort to compensate they made my next day morning memorable we got breakfast in the room and even a small cake too The staff is really nice but the resort policy is really not that good they could loos good customers I wouldn't go back to this resort The location and area the resort is located is lovely

We booked the rooms mainly for the show. However, for the price we paid, the service and amenities were not up to expectation. -The 2 bedrooms villas were not cleaned properly for us, AC was not turned on to welcome guests, so we walked into a suffocating and smelly room. The sofa at the living room had yellow stains and felt itchy when we sat on. Other furniture is old and not up to value for the price. -Staff is not well-trained. Though friendly, they did not walk us through the amenities at the hotels when we got our rooms. They just drove our luggages and left them at the front of the villas; didn't help us move them in. They should have shared more info about transportation and the moon bridge access to the other side as we were staying on a peninsula. -Buffet is so bad for the price. Cheap food options were provided. We also didn't enjoy the tastes. With the number of guests staying and the prices charged, the food options can be of better quality. It was a joke. It feels as though they focus more on selling the show. However, the check in at the show was super messey even though we had VIP access. We had one free access for the kid and they should have given us the free access ticket for him when we booked online. Instead we had to take our kid back out to the reception for the free access during very messy check-in time. Definitely did not feel like a VIP experience. The show quality is ok, but might be confusing if you don't understand Vietnamese and don't have basic knowledge of Vietnamese history. Overall, I would not come back to stay here.

Nestled on a serene island, my recent stay at a luxurious resort was nothing short of extraordinary. While the property was situated a tad far from the bustling city center, complimentary bicycles and ride-hailing services were made readily available to guests. The spacious room was a haven of comfort, equipped with all the essential amenities to ensure a pleasant and hassle-free experience. The highlight of the resort, undoubtedly, was the complimentary Theme Park ticket - an outstanding value-add, providing guests with an array of entertainment options. The resort's convenient location also made it an ideal spot for visitors to catch the much-hyped night show. Perched by the river, the resort boasts an enchanting view of boats carrying lanterns, further amplifying the tranquil atmosphere. The idyllic setting was nothing short of mesmerizing, making for an unforgettable experience. Regrettably, the resort's strict policy of not allowing outside food and beverages marred an otherwise faultless experience. While this may be a minor inconvenience for some, the inability to sample local delicacies was a considerable letdown. Despite the setback, the resort was a prime choice for a relaxing retreat, offering visitors unparalleled access to the Theme Park and the night show. With spacious rooms and breathtaking views, the resort is a must-visit for those seeking an unforgettable getaway.

Traumatizing Stay

Bad location, poor management and outrageous service.

This is by far the worst hotel and reception we have experienced in the whole of Vietnam.

The reception treat its guests like criminals. We were not informed not to bring outside beverages and was told off by the security guards and your reception for not knowing that we cannot bring 6 cans of beverages into the room. It was downright rude and with no courtesy. The guard and reception on duty raises their voice and demand us to handover the beverages as though we did something wrong. It was distasteful and we felt insulted in so many ways.

We weren’t told that we cannot bring beverages earlier but was only told that seafood and durian are not allowed in rooms.

If they were to politely asked, we would have pass or throw away the beverages.

We wanted to cancel the booking and move out immediately but was rejected by the property and our booking agent said they cannot refund due to the cancellation policy. Thus we are at the mercy of the Property.

The apology was not sincere with the focus being food safety of the guests. There are reviews of people getting food poisoning from the property. Also, how would canned beer cause food poisoning? Also, the property is inconsistent in enforcing as our neighboring villa has a carton of beer in room but for us, we are being warned of their policy and fine.

Food is not fantastic at this property. We stayed 2 days and the breakfast is almost the same both days, and they are quite bad. The tables are also not set up properly and I need to get serviettes from other tables.

In the both days of our stay, we do observe that this property has also sold rooms to tour groups, making the property rowdy and crowded.

Also, room condition is bad. Gave 2 shampoo, broken door, fused lamp and spoiled door knob. Moreover, some of the doors are unlocked at the villa which allow outsiders to come in if we did not check. The room has ants and windows are dusty.

It was really a bad stay. We can accept the oversight by housekeeping, but we are traumatized by how this property treats its guest. Not to mention again, the location is far from the...

Where do I begin? The hotel offered to pick us up from the airport. We communicated our arrival information and the fact that our flight was delayed, however when we arrived at the airport, no one was there to pick us up and there was no acknowledgement when we arrived at the hotel that they left us stranded. So after arriving after a long exhausting flight, we were informed that they wanted to keep our passports and only give us one key. Most hotels will simply copy your passport and give you two keys with no fuss. This was the first red flag. When we insisted on keeping our passports, they used their phones to take a photo of our passports. They did provide a person to take our luggage to the third floor. After precariously walking through dark, unlit, uneven, passageways, the bellman began to carry our luggage up three flights, tripping on the second flight and that’s when we realized there was no elevator. Once we arrived in our room, they had mistakenly put another guest in our room who was also checking in at the same time. After clearing up the confusion, we called down to the front desk, only to discover that our phone did not work. This was the second red flag. To sum it all up: No elevator, no phone, no customer service, and because of this we decided to check out the following morning. They received 2 stars because the breakfast was decent and they did make an offer to change our room the following day to also lower floor, however there was no guarantee of this happening considering that the next morning, the person at the front desk seemed confused as to why we would be checking out after we had just explained our concerns. After leaving this hotel, we took an 8 minute taxi ride down the road and had a fabulous 5 - star experience at another hotel and we suggest you...
