The food overall was ok. We ordered 6 steaks and they were cooked as ordered (probably one or two kind of a miss). Overall ok experience with the steak UNTIL the cod dish. It was really really, extremely extremely fishy , sickly and hard to swallow. My cousin ate it hot when it was served but wanted to throw up after a few bites. We asked them to check it why. After a while they brought the same plate we gave them and said we didn’t have it when it was hot, and it supposed to be fishy cuz it’s fish, and they “helped” us heat up the food so try it again. Oh wow, surprised? I mean, fishy for a bit, not sickly and made people vomit all out. It was still unbearable with the fishy and sickly smell & taste so we did not finish the fish. I was feeling nausea and my cousin threw up everything out when she got back home. I came there to celebrate my birthday and well, not a very satisfying one. The service was good, the waitress/waiter were friendly. But hopefully they can improve on their cod dish or at least find a better way to explain it to customers when the customers have issues with the food. Not like replying with something so obvious (it’s fishy cuz it’s fish?). Also the salmon seemed to be overcooked, but edible, still pretty tough, much better than the cod (the cod was too bad to have anything worse than that). DO NOT RECOMMEND HAVING ANY COD DISH. The fries was cut too big, smell like was cooked in oil used for days and days. Came with an expectation of getting better food and IT WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE. Probably never go back again. We spent more than 4 million dong, and feel like it’s a...
Read moreFrom the outside this looks like a nice restaurant that should be air-conditioned. Once we sat down however, it was clearly quite uncomfortably warm, and instead of AC they only had fans. Not unusual for Vietnamese restaurants I know, but when they're charging near western prices, I think they should offer western amenities.
Looked through the menu and ordered chicken with mushrooms and rosemary (which looked great in the picture). Also ordered the sautéed spinach and garlic, hoping it would be healthy.
Disappointed as the chicken came out deep fried and greasy, along with greasy fried potatoes, it looked nothing like the picture in the menu. It was also covered in a mayonnaise type of sauce, gross! The sautéed spinach was also shiny as they used way too much oil. What on earth is wrong with their chef?
Bottom line is the food here isn't tasty or healthy.. Basically poor fast food quality is what you'll get here.
The wait staff was ok (as in neither polite or rude), however, my friend's meal came out 20 minutes before mine and she was basically finished with her meal when my meal just arrived. No apologies, nothing.
Won't be coming back here,...
