This Thai restaurant is pretty but the food wasn’t very good. We had ordered pad Thai, and papaya salad with shrimp. The pad Thai was very good and had fantastic flavor and texture. The papaya salad on the other hand, was lacking in flavor and sourness and the “raw “ shrimp was kind of warm? I didn’t feel very comfortable eating it. I had to add lime in it for it to even have a sour taste. Also, the staff were nice but I guess since it was busy they weren’t very attentive, we waited and actively had to ask somebody for drinks after waiting 10-15 minutes. I worked as a server for a few years so I understand if things get busy. I also saw a worker drop chopsticks, pick it up, and use it to set up a table. Went tonight on our last night in Ho Chi Minh and had the worst experience in our whole holiday Do not go to this restaurant the staff are very rude and incompetent and do not take account of their errors. Food was missed from our order and other items came out late so meat got cold waiting for sides table was not cleared and staff were busy larking around to care. The manager does not know how to manage and allows his junior staff to over rule him They did not offer to take items of the bill and eventually gave a 15 percent discount which we feel for a ruined evening and waiting over 1 hour for part of our order is not acceptable. I was really looking forward to some authentic Thai food, after having some delicious Thai food in Vung Tau. I ordered the papaya salad with cooked prawns, red seafood curry, and a passion fruit juice. While the salad was beautifully presented, it lacked depth in flavour. The curry, unfortunately, was far from authentic—it contained only two small, unpeeled prawns along with fish cake pieces, pineapple, and tomato, none of which belong in a traditional red curry.
