Had great coffees in a very nice, laid-back cafe decorated with Vietnamese retro, vintage feels. Coffee + people/ traffic watching = simple bliss. This particular outlet overlooks Ho Con Rua garden, where a lot of locals hang around as well. Located on the second floor, this outlet is air conditioned, with a mix of window seats (limited) and normal tables. On the last visit, had the iced Saigon Brown cofee (with evaporated milk) & Iced black coffee. The Saigon brown coffee is less strong & sweet compared with other local coffees I've tried, which is great as sometimes my sensitive stomach gets bloated easily from having too much milk or sweet drinks. The Black coffee comes sweet as well (I guess this is how Black coffee is prepared in HCMC), but also not too much as it doesn't overpower the...
Read moreI've been to this place numerous times already. However the recently staff attitude is bad which makes me not want to visit it again. My friend ordered a hot tea but they give her a paper cup. When and how a paper cup can hold that hot tea? We complained and asked for change the paper cup to glass or another cup which can deal with the after she held and coffee poured over her hands and burned her fingers. However nothing happened at the first tried. When they can do it immediately because they were free. But they gossiped a bit until my friend asked for the second time and then they slowly changed it with the negative feelings. I don't eat food here so I give no star on it. Hopefully the owner will read this and train their staff again and make it good as...

The resulting marriage of flavors and textures is absolutely heavenly. It's worth the effort to find this place, which is upstairs, with the stairs going up around back of the building on the left side. Once upstairs, you'll find a rustic, but comfy decor, with a nice view of the Turtle Lake (Ho Con Rua) roundabout, which is really just a huge man-made concrete lilly pond, but still attractive in an unusual cold-war sort of way. There was a turtle sculpture atop the tall concrete pedestal at the center of the lake in yesteryears, but sadly it's...
