C'est La Vie Restaurant — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

You’ll find a plethora of high-end buffets within the luxury hotels within Sài Gòn, and they’ll pretty much offer a similar AYCE package: great selection of fresh/on-ice seafood, Western and Vietnamese dishes, and dessert bar all in a great ambiance and top-notch service. C’est La Vie offers all this and they offer table service for all the seafood + meat items, where you can ask any of their available seafood brought to your table and prepared in any way you want (unlimited of course). For 800K per person, it’s hefty but WORTH IT. I would totally come back for the lobster, abalone, shrimps, and snails while avoidining the sushi bar (except for the salmon sashimi, that was pretty yummy). Aside from the table-side service, I’d say everything else is pretty standard. I would definitely recco folks to visit and remember to reserve your table on Google beforehand.

P.S. Parking in this location is VERY SECURED. They will compare the camera footage of when you enter and exit the garage to ensure the right people are taking the vehicle (I took my jacket off when I left and was asked about it...

We were very excited this seafood buffet after reading reviews about it. My husband and I ate both cooked and raw food (oyster and sashimi) and our moms only ate cooked food. Apparently I started food poisoning symptoms that same midnight. My husband later had the same symptoms a day after me. I never vomited this much in my life and diarrhea hasn’t resolved even though 4th day is coming!!! So lame that this totally ruined our following short oversea trip. We never expected to experience such a horrible food poisoning at a 5 star restaurant/ hotel! We reported the incident to the hotel management and they responded shortly after the weekend is over… out of courtesy but it does not sound like they’re going to take any responsibility. Just hope no one else would ever have to experience...
