Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Service Experience on G Floor – April 19, 2025
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the poor service my colleagues and I encountered on the G floor of Majestic Hotel on April 19, 2025. I hope you will address this matter seriously and take appropriate corrective actions.
I had pre-booked a table at MBar and went to the G floor to escort my colleagues. While entering the elevator, a male staff member (wearing the hotel uniform, middle-aged) abruptly asked me, Where are you going? Have you booked a table?”Despite explaining that Ihad already made a reservation, he insisted I follow him to “verify" the booking in a dismissive and disrespectful manner. Only after failing to contact internal departments to verify the information did he finally allow me to proceed.
I was dressed professionally and behaved politely, yet the staff’s suspicious attitude and discourteous actions made me feel humiliated and discriminated against. This experience starkly contradicts the luxurious and professional image Majestic Hotel strives to uphold.
Your management team must investigate this incident, review staff training protocols, and improve guest reception procedures to prevent recurrence. This caused confusion, wasted our time, and left us without proper assistance.
I trust that Majestic Hotel values its reputation and will handle this matter with urgency and professionalism to ensure future guests receive the service quality they...
Read moreIt was too late to go out and get noodles -- in the sense it was becoming impossible to get a taxi -- so I repaired to the roof to the m bar, the same famed rooftop bar that was written about by Greene in The Quiet American. I am so glad I did. What a river view, and of central city! The food wasn't that memorable --imperial rolls? but it was same as room service menu which I enjoyed, though I felt like a bit of a putz ordering vietnamese specialties at such a premium -- could probably street eat for a week for what I spent but it was my last night so what the heck. I had a fresh (I think) pomelo juice and watched my fellow tourists get the majestic special (you can too, it's at the end of the "knowing me knowing you" video -- and it worked out that at the beginning of that vid you can see the server with the cocktail that you see at the end, and at the end of the photos there is a still of it) I loved the band so much -- they killed it with sixties and seventies, and I was blown away when they started to play "Guantanamera" for that old Habana/Saigon connection, either pre or post liberation. I was sad to go back to the room, but when the band was done it seemed like a good cue. If I were rich and full of leisure time, I'd live at the...
Read moreBeautiful place with a beautiful view and nice ambience with background music playing. We just stopped by at the end of the night to get some drinks for the four of us to finish the evening off. It is a prime spot so you do expect good prices, but I can't help feel that the soft drinks and juices were way over priced. I was the driver for our group and so I ordered a soft drink - first it was about 10 times the price in a supermarket, second, it came in a can and they opened it in front of me. For that price I would like to pretend that it did not come from a can and therefore will stop me thinking about how overpriced it is. However apart from that the...
