Morico mPlaza Saigon — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

This is the second Morico location I've been to and it's excellent, from the food to the service. There's a lunch rush hour so all the tables might be booked. The staff were very attentive, helpful and polite. There was a delay in receiving our lunch, likely due to the lunch hour. The set lunches are a good deal with options to add-on drinks and desserts for a reasonable price. Will definitely return and recommend this business and location. Most mention that the soy sauce isn't vegetarian! The staff told me they put a fish based sauce in the Kikkoman containers. You must request a vegetarian soy sauce. My most favorite Morico (I haven’t been to Morico Diamond Island and Saigon Pearl) but out of 5 branches in D1, this place is the best. Good lighting, high ceiling, both indoor and outdoor seatings. Since this place is located inside mPlaza so they’re really busy at lunchtime during weekdays. But really good vibes, calm and more quiet in the afternoon or at the weekend. Nothing much to say because everything stays same to other places, food quality, service... are all good. Parking fee at mPlaza is unexpectedly high but they offer 2-hr-free...

contemporary japanese - food is prepared well, nice and clean space, with a modern menu. this does mean prices can be a bit fancier than usual

and as its a modern and contemporary japanese cuisine its important to set your expectations to that - using japanese skills and knowledge to bring forward dishes in a new fashion
