I was hesitant to write a review because I wanted to keep this gem a secret all for myself, but I must give credit where credit is due.
Down a small alleyway, isolated from the traffic and noise you will find this coffee shop - a relaxing place to sit, work, write letters, or whatever you may need to do that day. It’s truly a rare experience in a city that is always on the move.
I sat here and enjoyed two delicious coffees. I should note that many places in Vietnam like to use beans that have been artificially flavored with caramel or chocolate, but that is not to my taste. At this coffee shop you can expect to experience the true natural flavor of the bean, which has been perfectly extracted by the barista/owner who clearly takes a very keen interest in ensuring that the coffee served is excellent. Not only can you choose you own bean, but he gave some great insight into what flavors you should be tasting and what pairs well with milk.
Overall, this was a superb find and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy place to enjoy superb coffee and think about things for a...

Tucked away in a narrow alley (filled with tiny cafes) right across Saigon Centre/Takashimaya, Naii Specialty Coffee feels like a secret meant to be kept. The moment I stepped inside, I was wrapped in soft jazz, filtered sunlight, and the scent of something quietly extraordinary. It’s beautifully designed, minimalist dark teal accent with leafy corners, vintage prints, and an atmosphere that invites you to stay longer than planned.
The coffee here is something special. I tried their salted coffee first. Creamy and perfectly balanced. (Some places would make the cream too salty) Yes. I know, getting a salted coffee while visiting a "specialty cafe" might be weird, but I'm basic even for a cafe hopper, haha. Then came the Affogato, where the shot of espresso definitely shined and definitely shows why they consider themselves a specialty shop.
If you're in Ho Chi Minh City and don't want to climb stairs in places like the cafe apartments or other similar styled places such as cafe Haru. This place might be a better option for...
Read moreJust came back from a noon pervaded by a fulfilled coffee experience by Naii. I ordered 2 pourovers, a hot El Salvador pacamara and an iced Bourbon Whiskey, then I got home with a takeaway iced americano from Laos' arabica beans. I enjoyed the coffee from the very first sip til the way back to my office. The owner carefully picked the beans for pourover and espresso, and thus performed the exercise of coffee making by himself. I was luckily indulged in the exuberantly flavored atmosphere in Naii's house today: the blooming fruity-citrus notes of Pacamara and the whiskey-driven woody & spicy taste of bourbon whiskey, every sip hit the right note as it was supposed to be. I was happy for enjoying the craftmanship of the owner. He really knows how to make a good...
