Visited this bistro tonight for the first time. The staff was really nice, they gave us some paper towels to dry ourselves when we arrived during a downpour. Although we didn’t have a reservation for dinner, they gave us a table on the third floor.
We ordered a clear Tom yum soup, grilled pork with tamarind sauce, pork and basil rice and 2 Thai milk tea. OMG, all of the dishes were really really tasty.
First up was the tea, they added grass jelly and cheese to it and it’s pretty refreshing. Never had this version of milk tea in TH before. The Tom yup soup was awesome too, right amount of spiciness and sourness. The seafood was fresh and lots of mushrooms too.
The grilled pork was really tender too, and they provided lettuce and mint leaves to go along with it too. It was a great way to enjoy the pork, freshness of the leaves with the tamarind flavour - it is oomph!!
The basil pork was good too, just the right flavour and not overly spicy. In all, every dish was really a good deal. Taking a VN spin on Thai dishes was really interesting for me and my partner.
I’ll come back next...

It's located on Pasteur Street, because the street has one way so you should go find a way to meet Le Loi street cross Pasteur Street to enter Pasteur Street. After passing the Liberty Central Hotel, you can find a very small alley on the left. The board of the restaurant is small so need to be carefully to find out. The alley is small so only motorbikes or walking can enter. Parking is charged. This restaurant has only 1 floor and kind of small so if you are planing to come there, you should book a tablet first. Although small, it has the warm atmosphere. The staffs is helpful and nice. The food is delicious, a bit oilly but i recommend to not order a mango latte if you can't eat much and want to taste more dishes because the mango latte is quite big. I came with my bestie so we was hard to finish 2 dishes because my bestie ordered mango latte. However it's okay if you have a group of many people, you can order one glass of mango latte and share together. The front door is nice, many guests stopped there to take a photo. You...

I came to this restaurant because it looked very charming, and the food itself was enjoyable. However, my experience was ruined at the end when I realized I was charged more than the listed price on the menu. I ordered a dish that was clearly listed as 199,000 VND on the menu. When the bill came, I was charged 228,000 VND instead. I asked to see the menu again to double-check, and I showed the staff the difference in price. Their only explanation was: “Sorry, our system is updated to the new price, so this is what it is.”
This is not a matter of a small price difference — it’s a matter of honesty. If the menu says 199,000 VND, the customer should NOT be charged more. Keeping old prices on the menu while charging higher prices is misleading, unprofessional, and unfair to customers.
I wonder how many times this happens without people noticing. A restaurant cannot build trust if the menu does not reflect the actual prices. Until this is corrected, I cannot recommend this place, no matter how nice the food or...
