Ngan Dinh Saigon — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Terrible service. First we ordered a few dimsum dishes and they came out one by one at approx 10 min interval. Super awkward to eat. What was most frustrating is when we ordered the 3 main dishes: char siu, fried rice, and stirred fried vegetables. Only the char siu came, then we waited. And waited. 25 minutes still nothing. Had to ask at least 3 servers standing around as to what was up with the rest of the food, because of course we wouldn't eat the char siu by itself like that. They kept saying they'll check. Then finally when we frustratedly reminded them again, they finally checked with the kitchen staff. Turns out, the other 2 dishes had been just sitting there. So altogether 30 mins waiting time for nothing. At this point, we weren't even hungry anymore and just wanted to be done with the food. On top of that, the food wasn't even good. Too oily and sweet as if a bunch of oyster sauce and MSG had been dumped into the food. And this restaurant is way more expensive than other (much better) food places in the city. Overall just a terrible experience, and we will not come back to this restaurant ever again. For future diners, beware.

Dịch vụ rất tồi tệ. Gia đình tôi mời khách ở nhà hàng này vì nghĩ tiện đi lại về khách sạn ở Q1. Đầu tiên, chúng tôi gọi một vài món dimsum mà lại lần lượt đưa ra cách nhau cứ khoảng 10 phút mà không cùng 1 lần. Siêu khó ăn kiểu như thế, cứ 10 15 phút mỗi người ăn 1 miếng xíu mại nhỏ xíu kiểu vậy. Thất vọng nhất là khi chúng tôi gọi 3 món chính: xá xíu, cơm rang và rau xào. Chỉ có đĩa xá xíu đc đưa ra, sau đó chúng tôi chờ đợi. Và đợi. Đợi hoài 25 phút vẫn không có gì. Phải hỏi ít nhất 3 người phục vụ đứng xung quanh xem mấy phần thức ăn còn lại như thế nào rồi, vì ai mà ăn đĩa xá xíu một mình như thế này. Họ liên tục nói rằng họ sẽ kiểm tra với bếp. Rồi cuối cùng khi chúng tôi bực bội nhắc lại thì cuối cùng họ cũng hỏi kĩ bên bếp. Hóa ra 2 món còn lại là xong rồi, vẫn ở đó trong bếp. Vì vậy mà tổng cộng 30 phút chờ đợi không có gì. Lúc này thì chúng tôi thậm chí chẳng còn đói nữa mà chỉ muốn ăn xong lẹ rồi về. Thức ăn thì còn chẳng ngon. Quá nhiều dầu và ngọt như thể một loạt dầu hào và bột ngọt vậy ấy. Nhà hàng này thì đắt hơn nhiều so với những nơi ăn uống khác trong thành phố hcm mà ăn thì dở hơn. Nhìn chung chỉ là một trải nghiệm tồi tệ, và chúng tôi sẽ không quay lại nhà hàng này nữa. We were excited to go for dinner here after reading such good reviews however we were very disappointed with our experience. We ordered 5 dishes, our bbq pork came first, it was 15 minutes before anything else came by which point the pork was freezing cold. Most of the food we ate otherwise was delicious except for the lettuce which was over cooked. We then waited a further 20 minutes for a noodle dish which we returned as it was too late, for the price and the luxury of the place, it just wasn’t good enough. There was only 4 or 5 other tables so it wasn’t too busy. The staff were kind enough to removed the noodle dish and service charge...
