The space feels personal and lived-in, and even though the staff speaks limited English, their kindness makes you feel genuinely welcomed. One of the most charming touches is the stack of little notes and drawing papers left by visitors—an invitation to leave a piece of yourself behind. It adds a lovely sense of shared memory to the experience.
The menu is one of those that makes you want to order everything—curiosity becomes part of the meal. We tried the steamed/vermicelli rolls; they were pleasant, though not remarkable in flavor.
However, the coffee is where this place truly shines: Egg Coffee: Luxurious, silky, and comforting—like sipping a delicate dessert. An absolute highlight. Banh hoi dac biet Madam Quyen was light and savoury. The vermicelli was thin and light. Went really well with the sauce. The shredded prawn was sweet and the grilled pork tender and well seasoned.
Cha gio (nem) chien was crispy and flavourful. Fully packed with pork and other ingredients. Looked oily but it wasn't.
The place was not well ventilated thus had a heavy food smell in the air. Was at the 5th floor unit.
This was in the cafe apartment. Walk up the stairs if you could instead of waiting for the lift ride, which you need to pay, and had to withstand the stench that was probably from the nearby toilet.

The food was tasty and well priced and the venue was clean and tidy. There was a slight language barrier with staff initially as I tried to convey allergies but they worked hard to ensure they understood by using translation apps and getting other staff involved who spoke more English. My partner and I had the vegan pho, fried spring rolls, fresh spring rolls and vegan banh mi between us.
