Nhà Hàng Chay Shanti Veggie — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

This place, unfortunately, failed to live up to my expectations, which was largely shaped by Google reviews. I think the reviews are highly inflated. The prices are a bit on the higher side compared to other restaurants in the neighborhood, and also, the food quality is somewhat questionable. I don't know that it sat well with me and my system.

overall, I felt like this place was a bit of a rip-off. To be honest, they even charge you for the Tissue, they charge me 5000 for that, even tho it is provided without ordering. Even ordinary banh mi places give you the tissue or 2 of these for free, and their prices are 1/3 or 1/4 of this restaurant.

I believe I think the whole place is just focusing more on profits and less on quality. I would avoid this place altogether and try other vegetarian restaurants in the neighborhood.

There are many of them around which are much nicer and better in terms of vegetarian food quality. Just my 2 cents, I would...

We came because of the good reviews, but got a different picture. The menu is written very incomprehensibly (e.g. "hong-kong style" as an English translation) and the waitress couldn't speak English, which is why we tried using a translator. A lot of the dishes were meat-based, although the restaurant calls itself veggi. They didn't have the dishes we wanted at the beginning, which is why it took us longer to decide, but unfortunately she got a bit impatient. The food was good, but we were served unexpected dishes. Dining here for dinner around 6pm with my family. Food was hit and miss. It depends on what dishes being ordered. I would highly recommend Grilled Pork vermicelli (Bún Chả Hà Nội).

Staff was not attentive. When we were ready to order food, three staff were sitting in the corner playing on their mobile phones.
