Sushi Wagao — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

We came on Sunday lunch time today. I would have given 4 star but one of staff was quite rude so I changed my mind. As you can see in the picture, when my husband was trying to pay by transfer, the staff (small girl) put the bill on his soup and left. The shop wasn't busy at all, it took only 1 minute to transfer, but for her it's too long to hold the bill and stand there. My husband didn't finish his soup yet, but we were rushing so tried to pay a little bit earlier. Then she put the dirty bill thing on his soup so at the end he couldn't finish it. Other staff (the lady with glasses and the boy who looks newbie) were fine, only this staff had grumpy face, no smile, and this impatience attitude. We would understand if they were super busy but she just went back to the counter and did nothing there. If you don't want to work then go find another job that's not service industry. Lunch meal wasn't bad but salmon was so thin like supermarket sashimi. Chicken was small so overall I feel it's overpriced. Never come back to horrible...

I was thoroughly underwhelmed by my recent visit to Sushi Wagao. Despite the upscale ambiance, the sushi was decidedly mediocre. The fish was lackluster, the rice was overcooked, and the presentation was uninspired.

What was truly astonishing, however, was the exorbitant price tag. For the quality and quantity of food served, I would expect to pay half, if not a third, of what we were charged.

Needless to say, I would not recommend Sushi Wagao to anyone seeking authentic, high-quality sushi at a reasonable price. Unless you're looking to indulge in overpriced, unremarkable sushi, there are far better...

Wagao is my go-to sushi restaurant. I often bring my family, friends and my lover here. I also recommend it to anyone looking for a good sushi-ya with reasonable prices. The quality of the food exceeds its price.
