First time visiting OM Eatery – and what a beautiful surprise🤩🤩🤩 I came here based on a friend’s recommendation, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Nestled right in the heart of District 1, OM Eatery feels like a peaceful escape from the hustle of the city — calm, minimalistic, and full of zen energy. ✨I started with the Herbal Nourishing Soup – a delicate, warm broth infused with mushrooms, lotus seeds, goji berries, and cordyceps. Light yet flavorful, and clearly made with care. A perfect way to begin the meal.
The Quinoa Fried Rice with Almonds was packed with texture – fluffy quinoa, crunchy almond slices, sweet raisins, and colorful vegetables. It’s both satisfying and guilt-free — a great balance of health and taste.
The Orange & Sea Grapes Salad caught my eye immediately with its beautiful plating. Fresh, crisp greens paired with juicy orange slices and sea grapes, dressed in a light tangy vinaigrette. Refreshing and energizing.
I was especially impressed with the Grilled Mushrooms & Sticky Rice with Northern Spiced Dip (Chẩm Chéo). Smoky mushrooms cooked just right, paired with soft sticky rice. The dip added a bold kick that brought it all together.
Finally, I wrapped up with the Herbal Tea & Dried Fruit Set – a calming pot of floral tea served with lightly sweetened dried fruits and crispy peas. A comforting, grounding way to end the meal.
The staff were warm and attentive, gently introducing each dish with genuine care. The service here matched the food: thoughtful, relaxed, and full of intention.
Whether you’re a long-time vegetarian, a clean eater, or simply curious about plant-based cuisine, OM Eatery is a place you should definitely experience at least once. I came in curious, and left impressed. Will absolutely return and bring friends along...
Read moreVibe - This place was a really clean and well kept. It was comfortable and they kept the temperature relatively cool so that you could escape the heat if it's currently really hot or humid outside. The decor has earthy zen sort of vibes to it, I'm not great at describing this kind of stuff but it's nice inside!
Service – They were super kind and polite. Made sure to assist us in finding items in the menu we would like and letting us know info about any particular drinks or food items. We also needed some change but they didn't have enough, which is totally fine, so they were really apologetic about it. There was also a customer sitting at the table next to us and they helped her take pictures as well as cutting open the burrata for her salad so she could take a video of it.
Food - All of our dishes tasted really good and there wasn't anything we didn't like! The mushroom soup wasn't for me but that's because I prefer more clear broth soups. We liked that the food didn't taste overly seasoned and super salty or anything else. They felt just right for what they were and light but still had enough flavor.
I would say the pate was my favorite! It's creamy and the texture was nice and smooth. The lingzhi mushroom drink was super interesting! It had a light bitterness to it but also a really good cacao flavor! There are jellies in it that mainly just have the bitter flavor though so I personally don't suggest eating them 😂
Overall, it was a great experience all around! You could even stop by at the pink church right there after to take pics if you wanted! Will definitely come back whenever...
Read moreWe were looking for a vegetarian restaurant. We saw this restaurant and thought to check the menu outside. The guard jumped up and tried to open the door and push us in. We said thank you let us check the menu. Then he tried to show us what food we should eat while we asked politely twice to leave us alone so we can check the menu ourselves. Meanwhile the older lady from the restaurant (maybe a manager) she came out and opened the door tried to push us in. The whole thing was so pushy and overwhelmed us that we walked away. We were looking for another vegetarian restaurant in the area and couldn't find it. So we thought to give this restaurant a chance. We came back and sat at the table. While trying to check the menu and choose, the older woman again hassled us and tried to tell us what we should eat (the most expensive dish). It was really annoying. We didn't enjoy our food which was average and expensive and small portion. But at least the other younger men and women waiters were all very nice and polite. But I really think the manager needs to learn to leave the customers alone until they ask for her help. We will...
