There's a front desk and half of the time someone sits there. The staff are very attentive and responsive on WhatsApp. The location is very good, steps away from the famous pink church and you can walk to city center where all the shopping malls and big attraction sights are (about 30-40 mins walk depending on your pace, but it's a pleasant walk). Tons of nice local coffee shops, restaurants, convenience stores are within walking distance, and lots of vegan/vegetarian places too. Bin Tanh market is super close where you can change money at the gold shops that give better rates than malls and the airport. But light sleepers should be aware that sound-proof is BAD, I got lucky the first two nights the other rooms on the same floor weren't occupied, but the 3rd night, both rooms had guests and they were making noise the whole night I had to turn on music in order to sleep. Also it's a lot more expensive than other M Village rooms (there are two M Village nearby) maybe because there's a kitchen, but if you don't cook, no need to spend the extra money. And some of the cheaper rooms in other M Village are...

All in all everything is fine - clean, friendly, safe. However, the big minus is the Live Music Bar on top of the building.
I stayed at first at the 7th floor - incredibly loud. You can hear literally everything - even vibration in the bed. (They offered me to move to another floor - however, the timeslot was really short (only noon) - not suitable for me) third floor: still very loud. the music is also under the week, regularly until late Moreover, it is busy/noisy with many people, as a Saigon-scooter-tour-service bring tourists regularly to the bar.
I tried to issue the problem with the staff. The communication was difficult in Vietnamese and/or English.
So all in all a nice a place for a couple of days - focussing on tourism in SG. For residing mid-term (including mobile working) as an accommodation for living - not...
Read moreRooms - nice and spacious with basic amenities such as toothbrush, soap, kettle, and hair dryer. Only water is provided for free, no coffee or tea. Snacks are chargeable as usual. Aircon works well, and the bed was comfortable 😌
Service - decent, but they don't have a proper reception. They service through a small table in the cafe downstairs. Staff is usually not there, but you can get in contact through WhatsApp. I'm not sure what the arrangement was, but you can't sit in the cafe unless you're a patron of the cafe - not the hotel. It's quite strange. Room service is only provided once every 2 days - not an issue for me. If you need your room done, just contact then via WhatsApp.
Location - decent, close to airport (30-40mins) and not overly crowded with tourists. Still accessible to...
