The restaurant itself is good – the view is amazing, the buffet selection is small but enough to eat, and the seafood quality is generally fresh and enjoyable. Service was also attentive, which made the dining experience pleasant.

However, I was very disappointed with the way they handled pricing and promotions. On their website, the buffet was advertised at a fixed price of 1.3 million VND with a 10% discount for HSBC cardholders. But when we went to pay, we were told that the 1.3 million VND was already the discounted price, and therefore we couldn’t get any further reduction. This was never mentioned online – the website clearly made it appear as if the 10% would be taken off the listed price.

To me, this is misleading advertising. A premium restaurant in such a landmark location should be transparent and consistent with its pricing. It leaves a negative impression on an otherwise good dining experience. They shouldn’t advertise offers to customers if they cannot honor them after the meal.
