Avoid 4P’s Pizza – A Complete Disaster!
I had an absolutely horrendous experience at 4P’s Pizza Saigon Centre, where I waited forever and got no pizza. But still craving an Italian-style pizza, I foolishly decided to give 4P’s Lê Thánh Tôn a chance. Big mistake.
This time, it took over 40 minutes for my pizza to arrive—with no explanation, no apology, nothing. Just complete indifference from the staff. Then, when my food finally did arrive, the server was wearing a face mask—the only staff member in the whole restaurant wearing one—which clearly means he was working while sick. So, instead of staying home like a responsible human being, he was spreading whatever disease he had to all the customers. Completely unacceptable.
To make things even worse, another server rudely pushed me to buy coffee, tea, and dessert. This was completely inappropriate and tone-deaf. Not once did anyone check how the food was, not once did anyone apologize for the ridiculous 40-minute wait, and no one even thought to offer a free drink or anything to make up for their repeated failures. Just zero effort in customer service.
When I asked for the manager, a so-called manager came over, only for me to find out she wasn’t actually the manager—because the real manager was “away.” And that probably explains the absolute chaos in this place.
Then she gives me the most ridiculous excuse I’ve ever heard: in a restaurant with seating for 100 guests, they can only make ONE pizza at a time. Yes, you read that right. She actually claimed they only have ONE oven and can only make ONE pizza at a time.
If that’s true, then this place should not even exist. How can you possibly run a pizza restaurant that serves 100 people with only one oven that can only make one pizza at a time? That is either complete insanity or just a flat-out lie.
And instead of offering any solutions, they wasted even more of my time with nonsense excuses, and I eventually just walked out in disgust.
This is now the third 4P’s location in just a few days where I’ve had a horrible experience. This is not a one-time mistake. This is a systemic failure of leadership, training, and basic common sense. The entire chain is a disaster.
Stay away from ALL 4P’s locations. They should not be in the business of serving food—or serving anyone, period. The entire staff, including the so-called managers, should be fired immediately and replaced if this company wants to have any chance of survival. Because when more and more people start leaving bad reviews like this, their business is going to collapse.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE.
If you want good pizza, good service, and basic human decency, GO...
Read moreWe dined at the original Pizza 4P’s on Lê Thánh Tôn, the mothership of what was once HCMC’s most celebrated pizzeria. Sadly, what was once artisanal now feels more like autopilot.
To be fair, the meal started strong. The organic tomato and Burrata salad was fresh, creamy, and delightful – everything you’d expect from a restaurant with "peace" in the name. My wife’s Carbonara was rich and comforting – the culinary equivalent of listening to Coldplay: entirely predictable, but no complaints.
Then came the pizza. Or should I say, the pizza-sponge. We ordered their take on a pepperoni, and while the ingredients were clearly high quality, the base was so soggy, it could have qualified as a damp napkin. Not just soft – wet. We’ve had their frozen pizza before (yes, the kind you stick in your home oven), and astonishingly, that version holds up better than the restaurant’s own. Something’s gone wrong here – expansion perhaps, but clearly quality control didn’t scale with the business.
We’d also ordered pizza bread to go with the salad. But instead of coordinating the starters like any functional kitchen, they sent the salad out alone while the bread remained in the philosophical realm. When I lightly suggested they might want to time things so the salad and bread came together, the bread quietly disappeared – from both table and bill – never to be seen again.
Now, onto the farce. We came with a voucher from MyPoints, a partner company. We checked before the meal if it could be used – answer: “Yes.” Then after the pizza disappointment, they offered 50% off the pizza as an apology – which was fair. But THEN they said we couldn’t use the voucher anymore because “two promotions can’t be combined.” Except… we never asked for a discount.
What followed was a moment of corporate theatre, where the staff clearly knew the rule was absurd but had to perform it anyway. Eventually, they removed the pizza charge and honoured the voucher, but only after a bit of managerial ego-wrestling. The poor server looked mortified – caught in the crossfire between customer logic and management ineptitude.
On the bright side, the Premium Lager was excellent – cold, crisp, and more reliable than the oven. The frozen version...
Read moreFor the first time I visited this place in Nha Trang city, having found myself in Ho Chi Minh City, I also decided to taste the most delicious crab pasta that I have ever tasted. The establishment is located in a quiet alley, the entrance group is located on the street. Because I did not book a table, I was placed at the chef's table and it was a very comfortable place with the opportunity to observe the pizza cooking process. I liked. The service and food were excellent, despite the heavy workload, everything was prompt. Pasta with crab is simply first-rate.incredible taste. I really liked the serving of ginger lemonade, this kind of serving gives you the opportunity to adjust the taste of the drink yourself - it's very courteous. So, uh, I tried a 50/50 pizza with shrimp and salmon sashimi. Pizza is divine... I really like the atmosphere of these restaurants. A small piece of Italy in the heart of Asia. And one more important point, there was a lot of pizza for me and I asked to pack it with me, to which I was informed that pizza with salmon sashimi should not be taken with me. I will explain that many restaurants, taking care of their guests, do not take away or take with them dishes that contain raw products (fish, meat or seafood), which turned out to be a very commendable and important moment for me. If you are in Ho Chi Minh City or wherever there are these foreign resorts, be sure to visit them. Gastronomic satisfaction and the best impressions will be provided to...
