If you are an adventurous person looking to find some whiskies you have never tried before or if you simply enjoy a good dram this is the place for you.

PK Maltroom has a shocking collection of whiskies (and rums!) that is sure to impress any traveled drinker or whisky enthusiast. I wandered in after a meal across the street. The light coming from the stained glass door caught my eye and I had to know what was on the other side of the door. What I found was an elegant bar top, charming music, charismatic staff and the very friendly and engaging owner.

The spirits list had many unique and rare bottlings as well as PK Maltrooms very own bottlings - a 16 year bourbon cask scotch as well as a 21 year aged in sherry cask.

I love the place! Great music & great atmosphere; my type of cocktails with notes of flavours & just enough alcohol, which allows you to really focus on the drinks rather than worry about the side that is too strong & bitter because of alcohol (yet to my buddy there was a little less alcohol than other places’😅) Wish there had been more food options, tapas perhaps?
