Smith's Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

The food was excellent and met expectations given the prices. I had booked a table in advance and mentioned that it was a birthday dinner. The restaurant kindly put up a “Happy Birthday” neon sign across the table, which was a cute touch, but honestly, not quite what you’d expect from an establishment of this level. Even a small gesture like a scoop of ice cream would’ve gone a long way.

I’ve celebrated birthdays, mine and others, at restaurants all over the world, from small cafés to fine dining, and there’s almost always a thoughtful gesture that shows genuine care for the customer. Of course, it’s not an obligation, but it does reflect a sense of generosity and passion that elevates the dining experience.

We REALLY enjoyed our time at the Smith Restaurant. We came at 6:16pm and my 10-year-old son was really looking forward to swimming in the pool. They said the pool closes at 6, but were kind enough to open it for my son for 20 minutes. My son ordered spaghetti Bolognese and I’ve never tried such a delicious spaghetti sauce! It seems like they put sun-dried tomatoes in it - it was very fresh and full of flavor. Our salads were loaded too! We wee offered a welcome drink and snack. Overall, even though we didn’t order any alcohol or expensive food, we were still treated like kings and felt very welcome.

Hôm nay mình dùng bữa tối tại nhà hàng và ấn tượng đầu tiên là có nhân viên đỗ xe giúp mình nè. Do thuộc khách sạn Silverland nên mình sẽ vào thang máy và ấn tầng 12 nha. Đến tầng sẽ có nhân viên đón tiếp và hướng dẫn mình vào bàn, bất ngờ là bàn trang trí siêu xinh luôn, view ngồi thì thấy được khung cảnh Sài Gòn về đêm rất thơ mộng. Món mình đặc biệt thích là Mì Ý Cua sốt cam (10/10) thiệt không biết chê ở đâu, sốt vừa vị, không quá chua, khẩu phần vừa đủ. Nọng heo Iberico (7,5/10) món này ăn kèm với cơm lam bé bé xinh xinh, và salad tôm (8,5/10) tôm không bị bở, phô mai cũng không quá tay nên rất là recommend mọi người nên chọn cho món khai vị luôn. Nhân viên trực bàn chuyên nghiệp, hỏi mình về dị ứng, dọn món đúng lúc và rất nhiệt tình trong quá trình chọn món. Buổi tối đáng nhớ tại Smith!

Today I had dinner at the restaurant and the first impression was that there was a staff to help me park my car. Because it belongs to the Silverland Hotel, I will take the elevator and press the 12th floor. When I get to the floor, there will be a staff to welcome me and guide me to the table. Surprisingly, the table is super beautifully decorated, the view from where I sit can see the poetic scene of Saigon at night. The dish I especially like is Crab Spaghetti with Orange Sauce (10/10) I really don't know what to complain about, the sauce is just right, not too sour, the portion is just right. Iberico Pork Chops (7.5/10) this dish is served with cute little bamboo rice, and shrimp salad (8.5/10) the shrimp is not too mushy, the cheese is not too much so I highly recommend everyone to choose it as an appetizer.
