This is the latest iteration of the Tartine brand with this branch identical in its aspects to all others preceding it, except the location, which is more central to the city center. Like its previous reincarnations the standard, comfortable villa-like feel continues, though added street-side traffic (& noise), that comes with a central location, changes the overall esthetic of the experience.
This afternoon I opted first for the Eggs Benedict, which was delightful — a rich & creamy hollandaise sauce balanced against the lightness of the homemade toasted muffin and punctuated by the smoked salmon. The quality of eggs can differ, as by past experiences at other branches, with the yolk sometimes hardened from being overcooked, but this time was made to a perfect consistency. Will definitely order it again here.
The second dish, the Vegan Basil Ricotta Tartine, has, in the past, been the star of the show. While this time the bread was a bit soggy and the balsamic reduction overly bitter, time in its new environment should resolve the issue.
Overall, kudos to the Tartine team in adding yet another notable choice for city center dining, complete with excellence of service, because, as anyone who’s anyone knows, competition in this vibrant city for consistent high quality cuisine is fierce. And Tartine - Bà Huyện Thanh Quan in Ho Chi Minh City is up...
Read moreMy husband and I recently visited Tartine Saigon, and from the moment we approached the restaurant, we were impressed. We were warmly greeted by the security staff and promptly shown to our preferred seating in the A/C section upstairs. The ambiance was comfortable and inviting.
Our server, Tri, was exceptionally gracious and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. We took advantage of their happy hour with 2-for-1 drinks, opting for Cosmopolitans. For our meal, we chose the ribeye steak, served with a fresh salad and crispy French fries. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We paired it with a Terri Forti white wine, which complemented the meal beautifully.
Overall, we were absolutely delighted with our choice to dine at Tartine Saigon. The excellent service, delicious food, and great value made it a memorable experience. Highly...
Read moreTartine has many places in Saigon. So that's easy to get there to have the food. 👉The bread is great, I have tried many kinds of bread ( pumpkin bread, raisin bread,sourdough...) all are perfect from my perspective. 👉 The food was amazing. If you're Vietnamese, I think you should think about sharing cause I can't finish one meal. It's big as for the West people. The style of food is just mixed from around the world. I like the ginger beer homemade here. 👉 The service is nice and helpful. The staff is even recommended for you what is the best-selling at the store. They are making sure you enjoy the food or not and ask for advice if you them change something. 👉The atmosphere is cozy with the yellow and all green plants 🌿 🪴 around.
