The restaurant is over rated. Food is very expensive. It should not be that much as there are other Indian Restaurants in HCM that have similar food but prices are way less. Even if you forget the price for a while, the quality is no where as advertised. There is a lot of potential in the place. It is the only Indian Restaurant in the street, but then please offer authentic Indian food if you are advertising it. People should come back to your place when they come once, they should tell others to come to your place when they come. There are unrelated songs being played. People come to eat, run some soothing music. People come in when it is already hot outside, treat them with some lemon juice or soda or atleast some cold water. Let them relax before you start to take orders. At your place, a customer enters, before he or she can settle the menu is already there, then every one vanishes. You call some one to take order and then every one vanishes. Again you call if you want something extra. Food comes (not quite as good as you expected), you want to talk to some one, there is no one, again you call some one. Restuarants are selling service more than food. In my next trip I will give a try again, else the better way is to goto grab and order food from other Indian Restaurants. Cheaper, good food, deliver to your room, no need to travel, wait...
Read moreI and my family of 4 went to dine in the restaurant on 1st Jan 2025. As I entered I told the manager that I don't have Vietnamese Dong I shall pay by card, the manager said our swipe machine is not properly functioning, so I told the manager to take my order, prepare the bill and swipe the card before, when the card was accepted then we had our meal.
Now the meal we had was 1 portion Bhatura Chola 1 portion Puri Bhaaji 1 sweet lassi 1 masala chai 1 mutton seekh kebab 1 chicken malai tikka And guess what the bill we paid was 53 USD.
Never had such expensive bhatura chole and Puri Bhaaji in my life.
The average per person is not less than 15 USD if ordered properly in this restaurant.
I personally feel that the restaurant rates are highly priced as compared to other good Indian restaurant where we ordered double quantity of food yesterday, and our bill did not cross even 45 Usd.
However I wish them good...
Read moreThe only Indian restaurant near that area. It is located in L2 of the famous The Cafe Apartment building. The menu offers wide range of dishes from rice, parathas, veg and non-veg curries, kababs etc. We ordered delhi daal, murgh tikka masala, garlic nan, chicken biryani and mutton seekh. The mutton seekh was too spicy without having the smokey kabab taste. The garlic naan was soft and tasty, the murgh masala tasted good. The biryani and daal were prepared well but lacked salt. The food were all overpriced compared to portion and quality, not to mention we all felt too heavy and acidic after the dinner could be due to repurposing meals and oil. The mango lassi was okay.
Overall, the food quality is average but can go if you are residing in that area and...
