I ordered two drinks — the egg coffee and the salty matcha in Japanese style. The egg coffee was excellent! But the matcha had a strong fishy taste. I couldn’t drink it, and after the first sip I asked the manager if it was supposed to taste that way or not.
Unfortunately, the service — and the understanding of what service means — was completely lacking. I asked to replace the drink with another one, which was actually cheaper, but my request was denied. Then I asked for a refund, and that was also refused. They insisted that since I chose the drink, it couldn’t be removed from the system.
Maybe the kind of service I’m referring to is expected in a more upscale places — but a project can’t claim to be five-star if, when a guest doesn’t like a product and immediately expresses this, calmly and in good faith, hoping the issue will be resolved, they end up having to defend and justify themselves as a customer.
And about the food — the matcha situation is clear. Maybe it’s meant to taste that way, but it really has a fishy flavor.
The egg coffee was excellent — 10 out of 10.
The crab toast, on the other hand, was odd and nothing like the photo in the menu. It was just two pieces of bread with a strange, almost flavorless paste and some melted...

The black coffee I ordered ended up being an iced black coffee. It was great
My partner had the egg coffee, which was kind of like a cross between a creme brulé and a tiramisu. Quite sweet but a real treat.
Some conplain about having to pay for the lift, 3000 each. This equates to 20 cents, and if you really want, you can ask for this to be refunded when paying for drinks.
Building is great too, very unusual to have so many cafes in one residential building. A real attraction.
Not all of the other cafes are as good as this one. The prices at Po were pretty standard with other local cafes, 35k for iced cofffee (~$2.5) and 55k for egg coffee.
Music was pretty decent, too. Often hard to find in Vietnam.
Great place, really generous and nice staff. Well...
