Canadian Tourist 🇨🇦 Coffee aficionado rates 4/5 Stars ⭐ In-depth review. Follow me as JD Digital Nomad on YouTube. I come here often, this is one of my favorite places to go in Nha Trang.
First the coffee ☕ coconut latte, tasted amazing 5/5 ⭐ I try to avoid sugar where possible, so I used Google translate to say "No sugar" and showed it to him, which he gladly accommodated. Without the sugar the coconut cream had a subtle sweetness that offset the bold coffee flavors. Really enjoyed it. My only critique is that yes, it came in a to-go cup, and since they have seating inside, they should have some mugs for customers doing take-in.
🤝 No wait time at 7:30AM. Friendly staff and they brought the drink to my table. All around I'm happy with the service.
🗣️ Yes language barrier is a thing in Vietnam 🇻🇳. Understand that most people in Vietnam do NOT speak any English. This is common knowledge if you research before you come...it's not like Thailand, where most people speak English; its practically their second language. A lot of tourists feel entitled and think everyone should speak their language...you're a visitor in their country, so if you want an improved experience learn to speak Vietnamese. Now if you use the translate app on your phone they are incredibly friendly and will gladly help you, just don't be entitled and rude. As a side note if you stick to the super expensive tourist hotels and hotel restaurants, most often they will speak English.
🪑 Environment is nice, it's a clean facility, nice giant roof to floor windows. The building has tow levels with comfortable seating including benches, chairs and some barstools outside on the balcony if you want a break from the very nice and cool Aircon building 🏢 or simply enjoy the street view from the large floor to roof - wall to wall windows. Honestly the seating is great for entertaining friends, or you can find a quiet corner to work on your laptop.
Would be nice and some plugins for laptops and USB for phones would be great 👍.
🏪 Now as a side note on the seating...this is one of those 50/50 store cafes...they sell their local coffee here and it takes up a big portion of the floor space. Yes they tailor to take-in but primarily they are a retailer with minimal seating...its more about takeout and retail sales.
Some reviews on here frankly are from entitled tourists, who expect everything and everyone to serve them. Again, respect the culture, you are...

While the staff are polite and welcoming, their lack of basic English skills makes it challenging for non-local customers to communicate, which is surprising for a coffee shop aiming to attract diverse clientele.
The coffee is served only in takeaway cups, which diminishes the premium feel of the experience. Moreover, all cups are the same size—small coffees are served in oversized cups, leading to poor presentation. The coffee itself is underwhelming; it lacks any distinct blend or specialty flavor, which is disappointing.
The menu seems designed primarily for local or Korean customers, with fewer options catering to Western tastes. For instance, the “Latte Creamy” priced at 59k for a small size is overly sweet, with sugar and chocolate added, resembling a mocha—none of which is explained on the menu.
The décor has potential, but the space lacks coziness and ambiance, making it less inviting for regulars.
Overall, this coffee shop feels more suited for occasional tourists rather than loyal, repeat customers. There’s significant room for improvement in all aspects, but it seems the management isn’t prioritizing growth or addressing these...
Read moreI wanted to visit this place for weeks because it looked really nice and cozy from outside every time I passed by. And when I finally got to visit it, I was very disappointed. The staff weren’t enthusiastic at all. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not expecting anything extraordinary when communicating with the staff, but I’d like at least some decent attention. In my situation, the staff acted like they didn’t care about their customers one bit.
The coffee that I ordered (cream latte) was extremely hot, so I burned my mouth and had to wait for a good 20 minutes to be able to drink my coffee. We weren’t even given a glass of water (which is usually a completely ordinary thing in other coffee shops).
Another disappointment was the atmosphere. It wasn’t as cozy as I had thought it would be. The furniture was extremely uncomfortable. It literally hurt to sit on it — and we’ve tried several different spots! Initially me and my husband wanted to sit outside to admire the view, but the seats outside were cold and had really hard surfaces, so it was impossible to sit there for more...
