Nhà Hàng Palms Bistro Nhatrang — Restaurant in Nha Trang City

I have to generally complain about the policy in this place that does not stop people from smoking big cigars even when disturbing guests that complain like me. It is generally strictly forbidden by law in Vietnam to smoke in Restaurants. Namely when taking breakfast what I do every day in the Palm Bistro. I usually ignore cigarette smoke when it is seated far away from me but today one bad mannered Vietnamese bloke right next to our table lit a big cigar and blew the smoke right away into my direction. I asked him first friendly to stop this he did not care smiled and blew double. Even the service personnel could not stop him. The argument was he started smoking before I came for breakfast. You must know now that I have double sided lung cancer diagnosed and also Sinusses infected and the voice affected. But no one in the Restaurant took my side. The opposite. I was lectured that if no one complains I am on my own. I am no one in this respect. If this is the way health protection in this restaurant is handled all with difficulties with smoke should think twice to frequent it. It so happened that we arrived in Nha Trang at 6 in the morning and we had nowhere to go. Fortunately, at 6:30 we came across this establishment and although they open only at 7 in the morning, they were ready to receive us and allowed us to order coffee right away, it is very nice, thank you very much to the staff. The staff is incredibly friendly and pleasant, I got the waitress several times because I didn't understand how to mix my coffee and she kindly helped. Visited on 4/8/19.food wise is average. Nice ambient. Is very cozy seating & clean restaurant. They they live bank at night time . But don’t put too much expectation on it. Price wise is slightly at the high side. Medium rare steak requested but a bit over cooked. Waitress are not fluent in English, so you might need to spend some time in explaining what you want. But they are very polite & friendly though. If you just want a nice & cozy environment to chill out with your friend at Nha Trang, is still one of the option you could pick from.
