Thanks for responding to my review and making it VERY personal, which was completely unnecessary and I'll kindly show you why. Firstly, please don't EVER refer to me as your "friend". I don't know you and that's just unprofessional to use affectionate titles to make it more than just about business.
Secondly, I'm sure that an accident like this wasn't the first time you've ever had this situation. You're in the hospitality industry, not me! A compensation could've been a small discount to the overpriced bill. It's just the thought that counts!
Thirdly, how very unprofessional of you to suggest that I was intoxicated and because I was playing a card game, that I am to blame for the accident! As a parent, it was incredibly irresponsible of you to have your child serve a full bowl of scorching curry to a table.
Your accusation that I didn't ask you how your son was after the accident (nothing happened to him BTW) is COMPLETELY untrue! My partner is a witness and can testify that I asked him if he was okay after the incident. I'm not a parent yet but I am a primary school teacher and I know full well how a situation like that could've traumatised a child. Your comments are utterly disrespectful and unfair.
Why did you wait until 11 PM to "apologise" to me and not do it immediately when i was at the restaurant. What were you going to apologise for? You've already accused me for causing the accident and that I was drunk, which you have no proof of! If you can't understand why I was angry at your shop, then you're definitely in the wrong line of work.
If you had read my review properly, you would've noticed that I had unfortunately dined twice at your restaurant, and if you can do the maths and use some common sense or logic, you will understand that the cost is VND 300K-400K for the total of two bills! I have the bills if you'd like me to show you how much I paid.
Thanks for your very condescending words advising me to give myself and "someone a moment of silence", as if I'm one of your children. Thank goodness I'm not! I suggest that you should practice what you preach!
I can only hope that you can see how hypocritical your comments are when you used subjective language and suggested that I "have an objective view when writing a review for a restaurant or an individual". I never have and never will write a review for an individual. I don't even know how or why someone would do that and what would it achieve?
Lastly, the fact that you mentioned that you're "raising two children like me is a mother's hard work" is completely unrelated to my original review. What was your point exactly when you decided to write that? Perhaps you should read your writing a few times before you submit a response to a review. Finally, due to your several examples of unprofessionalism, I've decided to change my ratings, which is very unfortunate but necessary for future patrons.
ORIGINAL REVIEW
The first meal I had here was the bánh xèo with a chicken curry and it was great even if it was expensive! They even fried my crepe until it was a lot more crispy and had a nicer texture (as per my request). The second meal was an absolute disaster! The management, for some reason, thought that it would be a great idea to have a small child serve a full bowl of piping hot "seafood" (2 tiny prawns & a few minuscule pieces of squid) curry to my table. The inevitable happened, which was that my right leg and foot were completely covered in scolding hot curry and the poor child was traumatised. Fortunately I stayed across the road, so I could wash myself off and change quickly before having dinner. No compensation was offered, which I find extremely unprofessional! The restaurant's food prices are very overpriced and the food lacks a consistent level of quality comparative to the expensive menu items. I would recommend only eating there once because the second time will probably be a disappointment...
Read moreI can recommend the place. There are plenty of menu options for everyone, end everything we tried was delicious (maybe they can improve their soups - Asian soups in other places seem to better to my taste. Especially Tom yum with pineapple seemed weird to me). Price is fair, staff is welcoming and food is served fast. They have comfortable chairs/tables and lovely relaxing atmosphere. Sometimes the restaurant gets quite busy, and there can be a queue. But don’t worry,if you’re in a hurry there are good alternatives nearby P.S. they have wet napkins on every table, what I found very convenient. P.S.S. Did I mention that most of the dishes cost...

After trying out few other local restaurants a came back because the first meal was so delicios and tried a lot of different dishes and everything tasted great. The meat is prepared really well, i could get a proper chicken breast fillet which was a was craving so much! Salads are amazing. Vietnamese pancake was sooo delicious and the portion is massive. The owners are really kind, the service is good. The prices are low given the high quality of the food. Try it out, you will not regret it!
