Nhà Hàng Lẩu HOTPOT Center Sapa — Restaurant in Sa Pa Ward

This is the worst experience ever. We ate at a restaurant called Hotpot Center which has a lot of good reviews. However, Staff were all busy and the service was very slow. It also took much time to just give a menu. There weren't that much customers, leaving only some table space. Staff can’t speak English at all. They said yes first. Even if I used google translate, the staff still didn’t understand and try to communicate with us at all. There weren't enough plates and cutlery, so I waited 15 minutes after getting the food. Until I got a spoon 🥹😅 4 people came and they gave me 2 spoons. I asked for more and they gave me 4 bowls. After I complained, staff brought 1 spoon. When I asked for another 1, they gave 4. Other people's chopsticks got plastic ones, we got wooden ones. It's like they're not enough 😂 -Vegetables and various ingredients look like they haven't been washed. Found a lot of insects in the hotpot. -The glass is not clean at all 🥲 Even if the ice is dropped, the glass is still served (not washed).

This is a normal shop or are we just unlucky? I really wanted to get up and leave the store, but the store already had a hotpot installed. Still didn't get the salmon (we ordered the combo set). The service and food weren't great at all (not fresh). They couldn't compete with the Viet Deli restaurant we had eaten at before.

P.S. We went to eat at that restaurant at 7:00 p.m. after the Fansipan family trip ended, the cable car had problems getting out and people passed by. We were all hungry and wanted to go find a delicious restaurant to eat. I am really...

Female Host was rude and dismissive from the very start (because we dared to request a seat change) but I find that with most restaurants I've been to in Vietnams tourist hot spots there is literally no emphasis ever on customer service..its basically like it or lump it every time -they genuinely don't care. Anyway this place was like a cattle market..we were herded in..food plonked on our table..we ate and then we were herded out again. Dirty dishes and rubbish everywhere.. it was actually a spectacle to behold how they even functioned amongst all the chaos. I'd rather have eaten in McDonald's..apart from their roasted chicken..i have no idea why anyone would go out of their way to eat here..overpriced and...

Avoid this place at all costs!! My husband & I went here because of all the great reviews they had. I am convinced that these reviews are fake. They have had over 10 5 star reviews in just the past 24 hours but when we went, there was hardly any people there. So there is no way they would get that many good reviews with that little people.

My husband & I got food poisoning from eating here! If you do decide to eat here, avoid the salmon AT ALL COSTS. Not only was it the salmon that gave us food poisoning, but it was full bones, so hard to eat. The dipping sauce was not great & the broth wasn’t anything special.
