Please avoid. I would rate this minus 5, without a second thought. Family Indian Restaurant undoubtedly serves THE WORST Indian food in Vietnam! And what's worse? The pathetic attitude of the manager. The staff is great, but the manager is terrible. I've been in Vietnam for almost 2 weeks now, visiting different cities, and I've had a very pleasant experience so far, especially with customer service. We asked the manager at this restaurant if the Paneer Kadhai would have Paneer & Gravy, and no vegetables at all, to which he said yes. We also asked him to make it spicy. When we were served the vegetable, it barely had 4 small pieces of Paneer, and was full of big pieces of onions, capsicums & tomatoes. As a cover up, he told us that capsicum is not a vegetable and this is how the vegetable generally is! Ridiculous! Also, instead of spicy, as requested, it was sweet! The manager refused to replace the vegetable, and instead, removed the capsicums & served it back to us. We also ordered a dal tadka which was overcooked, bland, watery & without any tadka, and the naans that we called for were as chewy as rubber! Poor food taste is ok to an extent, but when it's complemented with an extremely horrible manager attitude & customer service, that's...
Read moreFLAWLESS - BUZZING. My wife, my lad of eight years old and I have been frequently dining at Family Indian Restaurant for five years.
I have been working in the hospitality industry at the HIGHEST level for 42 years. I AM a very hard man to please for that reason.
This review is LONG OVERDUE. I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled the world and the vast majority of my earnings have gone to wining and dining.
This restaurant has been and still is, amongst the finest places I’ve ever had the pleasure of being associated with.
I say associated because the owner and ALL the staff make you FEEL EXACTLY as their NAME says - FAMILY.
Their persistence and consistence for bringing forth the most utter professional friendly service and quality of food is second to none.
I could rave on forever about the fabulous atmosphere, the strangers who become friends along the way and the laughs we’ve all had but I’ll leave it up to YOU to go and experience it YOURSELVES.
Ask my wife, I’ve usually got some form of negative,(but helpful), form of feedback but I cannot for the life of me, find anything to fault about FAMILY Indian Restaurant.
Thank you to EVERYONE who has been a part of this magnificent journey.
See you AGAIN s0000000n.

Read moreBest service we have ever had! I am epileptic has been seizure free for 8 years but unfortunately I had a seizure while eating here. They were so supportive and understanding and did everything they could to help! I had one and my boyfriend was so upset and didn’t know what was happening as he’s never seen me have one before. When I came round I tried to get to the bathroom and had one again this time they rang the ambulance and there was one particular girl I wish I got her name who was superb with us she was helping keep things out the way when it was happening and was talking to me and while keeping really calm which is exactly what you’re suppose to do when someone is having a seizure. She could speak English exceptionally well and even asked the ambulance crew if she could with us to hospital! Which they said no to but would have been so helpful as no one could speak English there unfortunately. But yes would definitely recommend the meal was really nice and I am really fussy with food. they even went the extra way to make it extra coconutty which I really like and this was before anything happened. Such great people...
