My partner and I arrived shortly after 2:00 PM to find the restaurant crowded with people working on laptops. We were also hoping to get some work done, so we ordered two drinks, intending to use the Wi-Fi for a short while.

When I asked the waitress for the Wi-Fi password, she told me it would only be provided if we ordered food. This was both surprising and frustrating for several reasons:

There were no signs or prior communication informing customers about this policy, leaving us completely unaware of the restriction. If such a policy is in place, it’s essential that staff are fully trained and proactive in informing customers before they place their order, not after. This felt deceptive and like an ambush. To make matters worse, I observed multiple patrons using the Wi-Fi without ordering food, likely because they had connected on previous visits. This inconsistency created a sense of unfair, discriminatory treatment.

The entire experience was deeply disappointing and, frankly, left me feeling uncomfortable and singled out. It was an unfortunate encounter with a level of service that I would not expect from a reputable establishment. I will not...

The dishes I've had are good but some of the options like cheese etc on a waffle. It's the wrong flavor. Waffles are sweet dessert items so spinach and tomatoes on a waffle made me not want to try it. I'm expecting berries, bananas, ice cream, things like that. Waffles and maple syrup, simple. Otherwise great desserts, hot drinks. My style of place. It's beautiful there. Aesthetic is beautiful. The broken outlet was fixed by my next visit, I was impressed. The staff seem to be on point mostly but they need to learn everything. Know what apple pie is, know what sweet condensed milk is. Etc. some things I overlook because I attribute it to culture but they just need to refine the waitors more. Answer questions directly. lf you ask for something and they don't know they will be offering something else without addressing what you asked for. They should be studying the menu, the condiments, knowing what goes with what. Jam, butter goes with croissants etc. so they won't be so confused when you ask for things. They will anticipate or even inquire if you need it.
