We did a 1 day Amazon private tour with Jim who is the owner of Amazon green tours and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. I contacted Jim 2 weeks before the trip and he was quick to respond via whatsap. Since we had only 1 full day in Iquitos, he suggested a day long excursion into the Amazon rainforest. Jim visited us at our hotel a day before the tour and explained all the details. On the day of the tour we were picked up from the hotel and taken to the Nanay harbour from where our tour began. We visited several animal shelters, The Yahha tribe, chased pink dolphins, swam in the Amazon and got photobombed by several monkeys! Jim & his wife who operate the tour are absolute professionals and provided a personal and authentic tour experience which is exactly what we were looking for.
