Regrettably, my stay at this Hilton property fell short of expectations. The water temperature in the shower was lukewarm and the pressure was lacking. Additionally, the WiFi coverage, especially in rooms, was notably poor, requiring a visit to the lobby for connectivity. The connection is often lacklustre with random disconnects being normal in the rooms. The internet is around 1mbs for download according to Ookla when I'm in the lobby, only good for basic web browsing and the occasional YouTube video, for calls it's best to be in the lobby as it seems the signal drops randomly when you're in the rooms. The rooms are clean, though the views aren't that great. It is pretty loud during the night as many people around here host parties. The staff was attentive and the rooms were what you'd expect from a three or four star hotel in the states. Although this is one of the better hotels in the area, the management seemed uninformed, they lacked awareness of basic policies for Diamond members. We experienced a prolonged wait for a room upgrade, as the manager incorrectly believed Diamond members were entitled to only one upgrade, whereas we should have had two.(the general manager sorted it out within 20 minutes) Furthermore, discrepancies between their booking system and the app almost resulted in a $40 extra charge(since the app has better deals especially for those with diamond membership). Despite the staff trying their best with the service, the overall experience was marred by management's lack of knowledge, the unsatisfactory wifi connection, and the presence of tiny mites in the room's carpet. The gym was small with only weights up to 25lbs, a cable machine, two treadmills, and a bike machine. The gym lacked any equipment for legs. For those seeking a nice workout, this is not the place, it's only good for cardio. This, unfortunately, stands as one of the most disappointing Hilton experience I've encountered in Latin America. It seems as if the management doesn't care for any of the complaints of guests. For the price, and considering the local hotels in the area, this place is like an oasis in a neglected part of Peru, but for those who expected more, especially for 110USD a night, there leaves a lot...

Very loud music until almost 1 am. My room was dirty. There were dried I don't know what on the bathroom counter and stains on the bedspread and towels. Couldn't get laundry done and still don't know why. I asked on Saturday when I checked in at two pm and they said it was too late to request the service even though it ran until 4 pm. They told me to request it at 8 am Sunday morning but when I did they said they wouldn't have time to finish it by checkout at noon. I had one load of laundry. I unfortunately got the impression they just didn't want to do my laundry. I said I would do it myself but they said that is not allowed. I had a very noisy set of neighbors as well as the loud music. When I called down to ask if they could have them be quiet (the noise went on until 2 am before I finally asked) they said they would but then they didn't. When I went down to the office after ten minutes of waiting for them to tell my neighbors to be quiet the gentleman I spoke with was chatting with 3 other employees. When he saw me he ran over and immediately apologized that he was just soooo busy he hadn't asked yet. It sure looked like he was busy there chatting with his fellow employees and that was about it. One thing I know for sure, if you want a quiet night's sleep don't go there on a Friday or Saturday. They treat the hotel as if it were a nightclub and blare the music SO LOUD even if there are only 10 people in the place. And they refuse to turn it down. I normally don't like to complain but I had just spent a grueling two weeks in the jungle with little sleep, needed clean clothes before I went home and had a 35 hour journey back home. The two things I was looking forward to the most at that hotel I did not reveive and no one seemed to care. I just needed a quiet place to sleep and some clean clothes. I will never come back here and I definitely won't recommend it to anyone I know. I can say that the cooking staff made a wonderful effort at making food. And overall all the employees were very young and seemed sweet, just not really super concerned about whether you got your needs met or not. I'm glad others who have stayed have had a better...

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP. I travel a lot and this is BY FAR the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. It’s the second time I’ve been here- there was a really loud party the first time, so I thought the noise was just a fluke - but I was so very wrong. This time, I came for work. They have very loud events by the pool and in the lobby. UNTIL MIDNIGHT pretty much ALL THE TIME. I was on the fifth floor this time and the music sounded like it was coming from inside the room. When you complain to the front desk, they pretend to be sorry - and they also pretend that you are the first person who ever complained about this problem before— I can see by all the reviews here that there are complaints on a regular basis. I also believe that the “good” reviews are fake — the noise is so loud and it goes until AT LEAST midnight — there is no way that someone would NOT mention that in their review. Also, it doesn’t matter where you are in the hotel — I had a room several floors above the pool the first time I stayed, then changed to the other side this time(thinking I could avoid the issue) noise still penetrates through the walls of the room. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND READ ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING— you will see that this is a perineal problem and no matter how much you complain they are not going to fix it because they do NOT CARE. Don’t bother asking for a refund — once they have your cash they will do NOTHING to make up for you rotten stay. Save yourself some sleep and stay at the VICTORIA REGIS hotel just a few blocks away. Other issues with this hotel: overpriced, mediocre food. No AC in the upstairs hallways (making it feel like a sauna), internet is very, very weak. Rooms are also dated and not the cleanest I’ve been in. I know Hilton has gone downhill in recent years, but I’m still surprised that this hotel continues to be a part of their chain. Reflects poorly on the overall quality of...

You will not get any rest at this hotel. I regrettably did not check the reviews before I booked here because I trust(ed) the Hilton name and have been between a silver and diamond member over the last 4 years. But if you read the reviews, you will find I have nothing different to say, but that has obviously not been addressed by management despite all these public complaints. It is 1044pm and I am in bed trying to sleep, but cannot, because they have a super loud live band playing downstairs. Which wouldn't be a huge problem except the hotel is open in the middle all the way up to the roof and all rooms open into this space, which is basically the lobby. I can hear the band over my TV despite turning the volume up. I've put blankets around me door to block the sound with no success. I called the front desk and they said the music won't be over until midnight. So apparently nobody in this hotel is falling asleep before midnight tonight. Who cares if I have to get up early right? Such a disappointment, especially for a Hilton. I don't know who approved this, but nobody wants to hear all this noise from inside their hotel room during their vacation after traveling long distances! They legit have drums and guitars tonight and singing/yelling rock music. Last night it was a saxophone. This is a horrible idea, I'm really upset, and I will be speaking with a member of management tomorrow. I came here for rest! 😡 In addition, the shower water doesn't get hot. And you have to go to the bar if you want anything to drink, even a bottle of water. Can it be midnight already?? 😡

I struggle giving anything above four stars.. 3.5 is more realistic. For the most part, the staff are very kind and helpful. Front desk manager leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. Think holiday inn.. Not a bid deal, but my Hilton status was clearly ignored, as they wanted to charge us for water at checkin. Felt like I was negotiating a used car.. The other party behind us with impeccable Spanish made a big deal out of it stating: “180 USD doesn’t get you two bottles” Either way it was quite funny.. we all got “drinkable water” in the end 🤣 Breakfast was fabulous as was the octopus appetizer and pisco sour we had in the evening. Rooms could be refreshed but are still comfortable and clean. The hotel is what I expected, as I read the reviews on Google. Many of the reviews are quite accurate. Loud rock music till 11pm on the weekend, but a couple melatonin’s will get ü through that :) Our room was in the 4th floor facing “the River” and a few homes as per my photos. Hey, your in the Amazon and not Aspen, so just go with it. Our friends overlooked the main square and they heard the continual noise from motorists, but again, we came here for the experience. Overall 3.5 stars seems right to me :/

This was our 4th or 5th stay at the Hilton Iquitos, and with each visit, we find new reasons to return. On this most recent trip, we were pleasantly surprised to see several improvements that made our experience even more enjoyable. All the seating around the pool area has been upgraded — new chairs, tables, and loungers — and the overall pool maintenance is noticeably better. Everything feels refreshed and well cared for. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. Chef Yian Chin truly impressed us with his creative and innovative dishes. We had seen some of his work on Facebook, which made us even more excited to try his cuisine in person. My favorite was the causa with lomo saltado — a perfect fusion of tradition and bold new flavor. (Sharing a photo below!) Special thanks as always to MariaJoset, who made the booking process smooth and welcoming. She always makes us feel at home and even helped us with an early checkout. Also, a shout-out to Luisa at reception, who made our check-in quick and seamless. We truly enjoyed our time here — and without a doubt, we’ll be back again. Thank you, Hilton Iquitos!
