Overall, the tour was very affordable and well organized. We saw many animals, and our guide was genuinely funny, which made the experience enjoyable and lighthearted.

However, we were disappointed by the heavy focus on selling during the activities. In some cases, the sales talks lasted longer than the time we actually spent observing the animals, which took away from the overall experience.

Another issue was at the end of the tour. Although the return transport by tuk tuk was clearly included in our booking (and shown on our receipt), the driver still asked us for money. We had to return to the office to sort things out. The manager wasn't there, but thankfully, a staff member eventually paid the driver. Still, it caused unnecessary stress.

The most disappointing part, however, was that we were misled. We were promised a 100% chance to see a toucan – and this was the main reason we booked the tour. We even explained how important this was to us. In the end, we didn’t see a toucan, and the guide confirmed that there are actually no toucans at the rescue center. This was incredibly frustrating and felt dishonest, especially since we had been looking forward to it all day.

Summary: The tour offers good value and some fun moments, but be aware of the sales pressure, organizational hiccups, and don’t count on...

No firmé ningún documento.

Not recommended! We were very disappointed by this tour company. They sold us a tour for 400 soles and promised us to visit two indigenous communities, an animal sanctuary and a lunch buffet with vegetarian options included. Where do I start? In the end we just visited one community and all they did is very aggressively trying to sell us their handcraft. The animal sancturay was not a sanctuary at all, it was a horrible zoo in the worst conditions: animals had no space, forced to take photos with tourists, super stressed out and depressed, it was honestly very sad to watch. Also the woman in charge mistreated them badly, grabbing them way to harshly without any empathy. Not to mention the child labour in their zoo. I don't get why this place is legal, they are clearly abusing animals and children. Then our tour guide started molesting me (even with my dad by our side), it was very uncomfortable. To top it all off, the buffet had just rice, salad and unripe bananas for vegetarians, which would have been fine if they hadn't promised me more. Don't do this tour, honestly, it's...

I stayed with them for 8 days doing a mix of all of their activities. Their Lodge was better than I expected it to be and provided an authentic Amazon experience. They even have Wi-Fi for 3 hours everyday and strong cell signal so I was able to still use my phone with good internet. The guide Miguel spoke great English and was very fun to go into the jungle with. I did fishing, night walks, ayahuasca, and even a hunting camping trip with shotguns. Everything was great and they were always up for whatever I wanted to do. They were even able to find a lady to give me a massage after a long Trek through the jungle. The quote I got for the same trip from another company was about three times as much. Highly recommend. I doubt there's a better jungle experience for the price.

I highly recommend our guide, Miguel. He was kind, passionate, and always attentive to our opinions and needs, tailoring the tour accordingly. Thanks to him, we were able to see incredible wildlife including pink dolphins, anacondas, caimans, monkeys, toucans, macaws, sloths, turtles, poison frogs, and tarantulas, as well as stunning jungle scenery and breathtaking views. We also swam in the Amazon River, went piranha fishing, paddled our own canoe through the river, and visited a local indigenous village. Tasting grilled jungle worms was a truly unique experience, and our trip to Monkey Island was both fun and memorable. Throughout the entire trip, Miguel was consistently friendly and did his very best for us. We are truly grateful.

We took a tour with Tucan jungle expedition for 2 nights 3 days into the amazon and had an amazing experience! Our guide Alan was great, full of knowledge and good humour, he really made our trip a great experience. The accommodation was super comfortable and the food was also delicious. The buffet style was perfect and there was always more than enough food available. We visited monkey island, night tours in the jungle, sunrise and sunset tours looking for pink dolphins, visited local communities, went fishing for piranhas and swam in the Amazon river. We have been travelling 8 months and this tour has been one of the highlights of the whole trip :)
