I asked for fried eggs & I was served scrambled eggs, asked for cold milk and I was served hot milk. Asked for bacon and I was served bacon, one whole strip cut in 4 parts! Asked for toast and I was served teeny tiny bread rolls. I asked for jelly and it arrived when I was almost done eating. After the meal their VISA machine could not connect. The waiter, Joel, allowed me to go to the bank to get cash. He looked nervous and said, "please come back". Well, we all have our good days and our bad days. I did come back and paid my bill AND gave Joel a tip. He seemed greatly relieved. After all, the coffee was good and the food tasted good. I will give this place another chance tomorrow morning as I have a business meeting at the same restaurant. I know, be nice and flexible. I came back the nect day and we had a businesd meeting there. Everything went just fine. Just remember, we all have our good days and bad. Give it a try, nice indoor/outdoor seating. Great...
Read moreLovely cafetería to relax and get away from the city noise. They play nice and chill music. Seats are very comfy and cushioned. The waiters were extremely friendly. The food is a bit pricey for the size compared to other peruvian places but still worth every penny. The wifi is quite bad and not really useful for working. Still I spent a couple of hours there just reading and relaxing.
Had the Emparedado Primavera Sandwich and it tasted incredible. The chicken blended amazingly with the sweet peaches, avocado and nuts. One wasn’t enough to fill mr up for lunch but defintely amazing as a little afternoon snack and it leaves some room for a dessert. Tried their Brownie and it was good, nothing special, a bit too sweet but still enjoyable.
I will surely come back here a couple of times just to enjoy...
Read moreThe worst breakfast I've had in Peru and the most expensive. We ordered two different plates of breakfast for 28 soles each. My plate included 1 fried egg and some potatoes with some dry ham (see the pic). All of which was tasteless and old. My girlfriend's plate looked even worse. It had a small watery omelette made of two eggs and two slices of bread. Probably the most tasteless omelette I've had in my life. The coffees were small and tasteless too. For 28 soles! If you are reading this you probably are in Peru and know very well what 28 soles can get you here. Most breakfast places in Iquitos serve delicious breakfast for 15 - 20 soles and their portions are much larger with more stuff and much much tastier.
By the way their wifi doesn't...
