Went to ITL for bottomless brunch today and can say was very underwhelmed. I don’t normally write reviews but today wasn’t worth the money.
We booked online for $79 per person for unlimited brunch. Attaching a note about someone on our table having a allergic reaction to seafood.
Arrived and nobody knew about the allergic reaction or the pre paid booking to start with.
When the entree arrived the calamari was touching other food on the plate leaving our friend not able to eat any. To which the staff didn’t seem concerned. She was given a single arancini ball instead.
1- this is a serious health risk having it touching other food when told of the life threatening reaction. Making us question if the chefs touched other things after touching the calamari
2- one arancini ball isn’t worth a $79 brunch
The pizza was tasty but not being able to take left overs home is a bit of a waste of food.
We opted for the unlimited bellinis first round came quick. But in the two hours we were there we only received two drinks each.
Every table around us was getting round after round. Our waitress finally appeared again and was shocked 40mins from taking our order we still didn’t have our drinks. Once the drinks finally arrived the waitress questioned why we had ordered four instead of 3 on our table. I said because we waited two hours for the second round.
Dessert was meant to be the cannoli which they had run out of which is disappointing but we’re happy to try something else. The other dessert was panna cotta we found it to be way to sweet. We noticed on the other tables they had a leaf presentation we did not receive. We don’t care about this. But every customer paying the same should get the same service.
Overall not the experience we imagined. Wouldn’t waste the money. Other tables received a lot better service unfortunately we seemed forgotten.
Perhaps more service training and more organised unlimited...
Read moreI went to iTL last night with my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day, and I have never been more disappointed in a dining experience. From start to finish, it was a disaster.
First, we arrived at 8 PM when the restaurant wasn’t even busy, yet we were ignored by staff for several minutes. No greeting, no acknowledgment—just awkwardly standing there waiting. When we were finally rushed to a table, we were ignored again for way too long before a waitress eventually came to take our order. She brought us warm tap water, which was anything but refreshing.
We ordered the Gnocchi, a Meat Lovers pizza, two lemonades, tiramisu, and pannacotta. The atmosphere was awful—cramped, dead silent with no music, making it unbearably awkward. The bathrooms were just as bad, with terrible lighting (nowhere decent to touch up makeup), the toilet paper not in the dispenser, and a broken hand dryer.
Now, onto the food. The table setting was uncomfortable, and they placed two cheap, awful-tasting chocolates in front of us—an underwhelming touch. The gnocchi was almost entirely tomato, way too potato-heavy, too sticky, and seriously lacking salt. The pizza was the best thing we had, but the base was flimsy and falling apart. The tiramisu didn’t even taste like coffee and was overly sweet. And then… the pannacotta. Hands down the WORST part of the night—way too lemony, borderline inedible. I have never had anything worse in a restaurant.
I have never written a review before, but this experience was that bad. iTL was a complete letdown, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save your money and go literally...
