As parents of young toddlers, we found this shady playground a welcome place near the river to relax and let the kids run around for a while. As other reviews have mentioned, the fence does not have a proper locking gate because it’s designed to keep wildlife out rather than children in, so it pays to watch your kids’ whereabout, especially with a car park right next to it. There are plenty of free parking nearby too, and my kids love the ‘Elsa’s castle’ style playground. An ice cream truck right outside is a good logistic move too for the vendor.

Nice playground along the Swan River foreshore. It is also great to see the area is fenced off so it ejected any concerns about your kids running to the river. They are unlikely to do so anyways as there is plenty of play equipment, slides and ride-on hits to entertain the little ones. These differ in size so it remains situate for even the littlest kids as well. There is no sun shades however the is an enormous tree in the middle providing great cover. Easy parking available as well.

A fence playground especially for little one. I would say for one to five years old. Various sizes slides, climbing area and animals rocking seats. Free parking available. Beautiful view as next to Swan River. Birds, ducks and dogs are bonus to the kids.

Good playground for the kids. Fenced off however be very cautious that the entry gates to the playground do not have a locking mechanism on them like a pool gate. We were there watching young children opening the gates & leaving the playground without their parents knowledge. At one stage I saw a very young girl leave and start running to the main road. I had to run after her to stop her from reaching the road. Her parent was nowhere near? I took her back to the playgound area where her mum was totally oblivious to her leaving the area. Please install pool gate type locking mechanisms for the safety of all the young children. There are too many distractions now days to say the least, please watch your children closely until something is...

Very multicultural environment and friendly social workers (Rangers) but one day a ranger really made my family and friends feel bad & sadly he was a part of the minority groups of Australian because as an Australian Muslim philosopher and motivations speaker I don't believe that the majority of peoplw who are in Australia are really kind and amazing believers of the humanity course which is cool and that goes the same way conflicts (interactions of -|+g, negative mindset vs positive mindset) in every country and land humans become lazy and comfortable. Scape the comfort zone and get as a matter of fact if you don't get up you won't be able...

Great spot for all. Plenty of walking paths, playground, ample picnic tables- some are shaded under the trees, some are sheltered with little shelters, lots of BBQs around which I've witnessed council workers cleaning, plenty of bins around. Everything is well maintained, it would be nice if they refreshed the paint job on the bathrooms to give them a little life and the parent room is not ideal but otherwise an awesome spot. They could add more little info boards about the history, the one at the cafe is great- very informative, especially seeing as so many tourists...
