Good playground for the kids. Fenced off however be very cautious that the entry gates to the playground do not have a locking mechanism on them like a pool gate. We were there watching young children opening the gates & leaving the playground without their parents knowledge. At one stage I saw a very young girl leave and start running to the main road. I had to run after her to stop her from reaching the road. Her parent was nowhere near? I took her back to the playgound area where her mum was totally oblivious to her leaving the area. Plenty of walking paths, playground, ample picnic tables- some are shaded under the trees, some are sheltered with little shelters, lots of BBQs around which I've witnessed council workers cleaning, plenty of bins around. Everything is well maintained, it would be nice if they refreshed the paint job on the bathrooms to give them a little life and the parent room is not ideal but otherwise an awesome spot. They could add more little info boards about the history, the one at the cafe is great- very informative, especially seeing as so many tourists...
