Terrible Terrible! and disgraceful! Signs for toilet facilities are very vague and not placed very well. Walked and walked for who knows how long to try and find the toilets. Finally we found them only for the disabled toilet being occupied by someone with no disability, but once the guy finally came out we could enter only to find the toilet disgusting and definitely not accessible with entire trolley blocking the entryway. The hygiene level was nonexistent, there was no toilet paper…there wasn’t even a toilet paper dispenser/holder. How does centre management think it’s appropriate to provide customers spending their hard earned money at their centre with toilet facilities not being maintained appropriately, especially during peak times like Christmas one week away. It will be interesting to see if Australia Fair actually provide feedback or any form of compensation for the inconvenience caused.

Not what it used to be. Initially, at first look this shopping centre seems bright and cheerful. The open stores keep their spaces clean and inviting. But there is either refurbishment happening, or a lack of money going into Australia Fair. Many areas are boarded off, shops are closed on a busy trading day, the roof leaks without any rain, and cleaning is not being maintained. A great place to do your weekly food shopping, but most other stores are struggling. The food court is limited and mostly junk food. There is a real lack of toilets for a centre this size: only 3 bathrooms and 1 disabled toilet!! Disgusting and very filthy during our visit. Lack of disabled parking spaces is also an issue. Long past it's prime.

Once a Great variety of shops now not so. Feels like the centre management have let the place go. Admittedly it is 9pm on saturday, but kids coughing all o er public seating near coles amid COVID i think centre management need to take public safety and the standard of hygene seriously. It ia hard enough for everyone. Very disappointing. But alas still have 3 hour free parking. At least so at least the car doesn't get stolen broken into there's that to look forward to. Eatery doesn't feel safe with all the gangs of youths lurking around and detracting from the views from eatery of the harbour. General cleanliness has taken a nosedive. I set in the children coughed seats for over 15 minutes not an attendant to be seen.

Australia Fair, although not the largest shopping centre, has most of the shops you'd expect. If you're on holidays on the Gold Coast, I'd highly recommend Australia Fair. If you don't like crowds, or massive spread out centres, to the point where you can get lost, then this shopping centre is for you. On the ground floor there are two major supermarkets; Woolworths & Coles, also, a couple of Asian grocery stores. On level 1 there is Kmart and Best & Less. If you're looking for fashion, shoes, accessories, mobiles, electrical goods, Manchester & other speciality shops, it's all there. And for entertainment, especially on those rainy days, there is Event Cinemas on Level 1. Keep your movie ticket as you can insert it at the exit to cover 5 HOURS FREE PARKING. And to sustain the energy we need on shopping sprees, there is a food court on level 1 as well as numerous cafes and restaurants around the centre. There's a medical centre, Australia Fair Medical Centre/QML Pathology in between the two parking entrances/exits, which also has a drive through making it handy to drop off. If you need a script filled, Terry White Pharmacy is on Ground level. And if you need your eyes checked, there's a Specsavers store on the Ground level Located in the Basement, Carpark South, there's Kmart Tyre & Auto and if you'd like your car washed, it can be done at Star Car Wash near the Carpark North entrance. The Carpark entrance is located on Marine Parade Underground parking is FREE FOR 3 HOURS. If you spend over $100 on any one visit, you get 5 HOURS FREE PARKING by taking your proof of purchase to the Customer Service Desk on level one. Also if you have a DISABLED PERMIT you are entitled to PARK FREE ALL DAY, once again by going to the Customer Service Desk on level one. Australia Fair is Disability friendly with lifts to access different levels and amenities specifically allocated to...

A rabbit warren of levels joined with escalators. I couldn't find directions to most places but luckily staff in shops did usually know where places were, or we accidentally ended up within sight of them.

Was with someone in wheelchair and having a bad mobility day myself (using walking stick) so that may colour my experience, as did complete failure to get the products I wanted, despite at least one being shown online as in stock.

We were late getting there which didn't help. We planned an earlier trip but delays elsewhere meant we didn't arrive til nearly 12 noon. Not recommended, an hour or so earlier would have been better.

The car park is still scary, and spots seem to have shrunk since I first visited about 20 yrs ago. A decent shop map repeated round the place would help.

In the carpark you have no idea where shops are, (a sign will say SHOPS - but that's not useful with all the levels), unless you manage to find a park near a big store that's signed. (Like say Woolies.)

Some great clothes and marked down bargains in dress shops next to each other, and lovely giftwares, but I was too stressed by then (and couldn't find the shops I was looking for) to stop or to try some on.

We got home, cutting through to avoid the tourist traffic on the coast road, and five minutes later ordered what I needed online. If I go for specific items again it will be after I phone the store and make sure they have them in stock and will hold them for me, or i do a...

Review of Hair Plus at Australia Fair. I went in for a hair cut this morning. I have quite short hair and was constantly told during the cut today that I had very thick hair. I have attended this salon for more than 2 years and usually have a hairdresser named Chilla. She is currently away so another lady cut my hair today. The last time I had a cut was only 2 months ago. At that time I was charged $35.00 but was told that the price was going up. Today at the conclusion of the hair cut I was told it was $55.00 and that was because I had left it so long between cuts and my hair had grown so much that it required more attention. I was there because I wanted a hair cut because my hair had grown. As I said, I have very short. white hair and each time I have it cut it is always short. Why would I be charged and extra $20 BECAUSE MY HAIR HAD GROWN. I was also told that if I come in sooner next time it will not be as much. I could not believe the price rise, just because MY HAIR HAD GROWN. The woman that cut it this morning was so arrogant. If I had known that it was going to cost $55.,00 I would have walked away. I was stunned to be told the price and then to be given the excuse that it was because my hair had grown. Considering that my hair is always worn short, what I had today was only a trim. It was the same style I always wear. It was not even a new style. My hair is too short for a change of style....
